Chapter Eight: The Past and Future

I saw Elena pulling the dagger out of Elijah, "What are doing?" I asked in surprise as she gasped then shushed me so I repeated in a whisper as she answered, "We need his help." "Are you sure he's going to want to?" I asked worriedly however Elijah then awoken muttering something I knelt by his side only for him to panic about being uninvited. We quickly took him away Elena gave him some blood, I looked away. He apologized but I told him, "It's not your fault. I don't really see anyone feed so i'm not use to it." He nodded once he was done we stopped by the Lockwood house I frowned sadly, I started missing Mason as well as feeling guilty for his death. Elijah patted my hand before going inside and changing. Once he was done he told us about the history of the sun and moon curse as well as the fact that he and Klaus are brothers. I giggled a bit when he said "OMG" because for some reason it seemed so unlike him. As he explained Elena suddenly got a call from my brother telling her the Jenna found out the truth. She started to beg Elijah to let her go but he told her it wasn't part of the deal so I told him, "You can keep me here until she comes back." "And if she doesn't?" "Then you can do what you what with me." He was quite for a moment then said, "That's quite a large barter." "I trust Elena. She'll come back." I told him softly. As we waited for Elena to come back I now asked, "Hey Elijah?" "Yes?" "Have we ever meet before?" "What!?" He asked surprised as I continued, "Klaus called me by my real last name so I was wondering if we ever met before?" He sighed, "We met once but you probably don't remember it." "Oh, i'm sorry." I told him softly, "Why is that?" "Because I didn't remember you. Plus if I had I known I probably wouldn't have sounded so pathetic when we first met." I added nervously as he told me, "No, it's okay. It wasn't your fault."

                                                                      Elijah's POV

when she told me that i immediately tensed up I knew I couldn't tell her but she always had a way to make me feel differently, I was walking with Niklaus when I saw a beautiful girl sitting under a tree she quickly got up when she saw us, "Hello, are you new here?" "You can say that." Niklaus said with a smirk as I frowned telling her, "I believe my brother and I are lost. Can you tell us where we are?" "Oh, um you're in mystic falls." "I see thank you, Miss?" "Oh, i'm Vita Vicario, a-and you sirs?" "I am lord Klaus and this is my brother, lord Elijah. It's nice to meet you both." She told us shyly as I nodded as Niklaus said, "As well as you miss vicario."  "Are you two men staying in town? Do you need somewhere to stay?" she asked worriedly as I answered before Niklaus could say anything. "No ma'am, we've already gotten a place to stay." "Alright I hope we met each other soon." She told us before we left when we were about of sight I told my brother, "Niklaus, leave her alone!" "Oh, calm down brother. She's just a human and we all know they don't live forever."

                                                                          Vita's POV

 I was about to ask him about that when Elena came back, "How's Jenna?" I asked worriedly as she said, "She's really confused but i'm sure she'll be fine." I let out a breath of relief then Elena, Elijah and I went back to the boarding house. There he offered his help only for an apology from my brothers. I smiled at him but Damon refused to apologized so I apologized for him later that night I had to break up my brothers from a fight but I felt that was least of my troubles.
