The same day as training...
After the practice game, I looked up to see if that girl was still there. Sure enough, she was. I walked up the banks towards her. "Can I help you?" I asked her. "Yes. Is this team," She gestured towards Raimon. "Raimon JR High, the team who is playing Royal Academy tomorrow?" "Yes why?" I replied in a curious manner. It was weird, she knew about the match. Only a couple of people know I thought to myself. So how? "Well, my brother and I," an as she said this, she stepped aside to reveal a boy about my age hiding behind her. "We wanted to join Raimon for different reasons. My brother, Link, wanted to join as a midfielder. And I wanted to join as a manager. Could I speak to the captain of Raimon about this please?" "You are already speaking to him." I replied. "I think we need another manager, so you're in. Now, as for Link, I think we'll see what you've got in a little practice with us, eh? Lets have a little tournament, first to score? Your team scores first, you're on the team. My team scores first, well I'm sorry. Ready?" Link immediatly nodded, probably relieved that I hadn't sent him away.
We got into teams once more. My team:
Me, Harry, Sam, Tom F, Bryn and Ryan.
The opposition:
Link, Skylar, Joe, Tom C, James and Darragh. My team started with kick-off.
I passed to Sam, and we began the attack. Sam passed the first player and put in a pass to me. I turned and was confronted by Joe. "Shapeshifter!" I cried out. I took on the form of an animal, which at the moment was a wolf, and picked the ball up in my jaws and ran past Joe. He was so startled he just stood there, open-mouthed. As soon as I shifted back I yelled out "Close your gob Joe; you'll catch flies!" and ran on meekly. I crossed it over to Sam, who, in front of goal and Darragh-who had to go in goal- screamed out " Wish Shot!" The day turned to night, and everyone fell asleep, except Sam. The ball started glowing and soft bluey colour, and started gathering power from the sleeping players dreams. He then kicked the ball, and everyone jolted awake. The ball suddenly grew from the final dreams of everyone and rocketed towards the goal even quicker than before. Darragh decided to use one of his defensive moves, and called out " Arrow Prison!" He had to change parts of this move in order for it to work. He summoned 11 arrows out of the ground, and pointed his two hands at the incoming ball. The arrows flew towards it. The tips of the arrows froze the ball on impact, and then Darragh ran forwards and grabbed the arrow shafts.He swung them round and then smashed the end holding the ball hostage into the ground. The ball bounced back up, and Darragh caught it. Wish Shot Had been beaten.
Darragh threw the ball out to Joe who then ran up. Joe passed to Tom C. Tom kicked it over the the defence to Link. Link turned and faced Bryn. "Cross Cut!" Link shouted out. A copy of Link emerged from himself and then there were two. They both ran out away from each other, before one of them kicked it up above Bryn, where it hovered. The copies both ran and leaped up to the ball. Theyboth put the soles of their boots on the ball and span. Bryn had already ran back so he was able to tackle them. Then the two stopped and kicked it over Bryn, landed and ran at Bryn from two sides. They slid in, and Bryn was tackled. The clone then merged back into Link, and he ran on, in front of goal. He soon yelped out "Blizzard Strike!"
For this move, Link did the following. Firstly he rolled the ball up onto his foot and span it around on his toes. Then he flicked it up, the ball still spinning. He then leapt up, span and volleyed the ball towards the goal, the ball travelling inside a blizzard.
The ball shot towards Harry. Harry called out "Hydro X!" The ball crashed into the Goalkeepers special save; and won.
"Congratulations Link! You're on the team! Everyone give him a warm welcome!" I shouted. "HEY LINK!" The team shouted.
