Why?
Why must I lose?
Why must I try so hard and yet get
nothing?
Why must I work and receive
nothing?
All around me
people get what they want.
They do not work for it
they do not face pain
they simply receive.
When i am weakest
those are the ones I look to
who have it under
control.
Those are the ones who have it
pieced together.
So what makes me
inadequate?
Why can't I have what they do?
What makes me
different?
Do I not deserve to see
progress?
I guess
not.
I guess i'll
simply
miss
out.
