Sengoku Night Blood [Nozomi] Drabbles

Author's Announcement (1)

So as I said in the summary, the previous chapter is the last part to the drabble. However! The game's main story is still ongoing, so until the game reveals the ending. This story is completed, but will only update when a new chapter for the Sanada Army shows up or I get hit by some kind of inspiration on my 'assumed' theorized ending for Sengoku Night Blood.

But this isn't the end! Because I have great news for everyone reading this! I've decided to create a modern au for Senbura, so you'll still see me writing for Senbura even when this fic is done!

The story will be called: Red Stringed Destinies.

So keep your eyes peeled for the first chapter!

Useful information

1) I don't outright say it in Sasuke's part, but he kind of does an eskimo kiss at the end of his part in Chapter 20 of this fic.

3) The Little Red Riding Hood story was actually a pun between my friends and I, due to the fact that Kamanosuke has a hood like Red Riding Hood but at the same time is a wolf in sheep's clothing no matter how you see him. (PS: he's totally not innocent if you've seen his awakening cg or some of the card scenes for him. Do not argue with me on this, because gosh darn...Kamanosuke.) (◯Δ◯∥)

4) The reason why I made this chapter with separate choices, was due to what happened on Chapter 7 for the Sanada Army's main story. Like I was wondering what that chapter was going to be about before I started, but whoop-de-doo it was a filler chapter centralized on the reverse harem aspect for the Sanada Army. (honest opinion, I laughed for three hours after reading all of the parts) Chapter 19 of the fic was based on my rough translations of Chapter 7 for the Sanada Army with a bunch of alterations due to me being unsatisfied to some parts.

5) I was going to use the awakening scenes that you would get when you maxed out the affection on the cards for the Sanada Clan. BUT, I didn't like the way how most of them drank MC's blood. I mean...who drinks blood from the...knee, cheek, and ear(the cartilage/bone part)?! Apparently they do!

ლಠ益ಠ)ლ I think the only one I didn't change was Nobuyuki's, but altered the part a bit.

Not only that, I was angry at Saizo's awakening scene in particular because honestly. He is a narcissist, but there was a part of him that I liked where he was being wise when he helped MC convince Kamanosuke to come back after running away. LIKE WHERE WAS THAT IN THE AWAKENING?! WHERE WAS THE WISE SAIZO I SAW FROM CHAPTER 5 OF THE MAIN STORY?! (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻

6) Now as written, the main pair is Nozomi and Yukimura on this fic hence his is titled True End. However the other choices above are simply what ifs or the other guy's way of stealing Nozomi from Yukimura before she even tries to confess to him.

7) To be honest, I was unsatisfied with the way MC or Yuzuki (according the anime and manga) reacts in the anime especially to the scene where Yukimura sees Yuzuki changing or the way she somehow gets taken by Masamune without any sense of precaution of who was taking her. Plus where was her bag or her phone? I don't see where it went right after she transferred to Shinga nor was it dropped on the floor before she was taken.

Nozomi, the mc of this story, was created with elements of Cardia Beckford from Code: Realize, the MC of Ikemen Sengoku, and Kuriyama Nana from Nanairo Kakumei. Now why these heroines? They're all heroines that can stand up for themselves.

Cardia Beckford of Code: Realize fought alongside the group of men she was with on equal grounds, and then you see her change from an empty doll that seeks death to a human girl full of emotions. She inspired the way Nozomi slowly changes while being helped by the Sanada Clan.

MC of Ikemen Sengoku was shown to be transported to a Sengoku era and accidentally changed the fate of Oda Nobunaga's death by saving him. However she arrives with her BAG THAT SHE HAD BEFORE BEING SENT TO THE SENGOKU ERA. Not only that, this MC learned to protect herself by being taught by the men shown in this phone app game. They don't even look down on her because she earns their respect by showing what kind of person she was. I mean this MC used a rifle, a dagger, and learned archery! Why can't MC of Senbura learn to fight?! C'mon! This MC inspired the idea of Nozomi having her bag before being sent to Shinga as well as the idea of trying to protect the ones she owes her life to rather than just stand there and let them get hurt.

Kuriyama Nana of Nanairo Kakumei, unlike the previous two, is the protagonist of a manga series with the worst (AND I MEAN THE WORST) female antagonist I've ever read in shoujo mangas. Nana's background in Nananiro Kakumei and friendship with Kojima Yuyu inspired Nozomi's trauma in middle school as well as the unhealthy friendship Nozomi had with Arisugawa Anju. However unlike Nana, who was able to stand up on her own after being encouraged by a guy named Shioka, Nozomi had no guy to swoop in and save her from the trauma she experienced. (WARNING: if you do plan on reading Nanairo Kakumei, heed the translator notes because man I wanted to flip my table so many times)

8) Yuzuki had little role in this fic, but I wanted her to be a significant person in Nozomi's life. Thus that small flicker of passion I saw in Yuzuki during the anime became of importance. Which is why Nozomi constantly keeps saying she needs to see Yuzuki, because Yuzuki was the one that helped Nozomi get back on her feet.

9) A lot of the chapters I made in this story aren't in the game, most of them are my original ideas of what I think can happen for Nozomi and the Sanada Clan.

10) Stuff that may be planned besides the modern AU? An epilogue to Chapter 20's theorized ending for Senbura. (〇*>∀<)ゞ★☆

11) There was a lot of Collar X Malice references mentioned, but this story doesn't lean heavily on it due to the fact that Nozomi doesn't know too much on what happened to her parents during the X Days Incidents.

12) Nozomi's name means hope or wish. In a way, it was a tiny hint of saying that this protagonist was trying to go find hope. When in the end, she had it all along.

But the real reason why the protagonist of this story was given this name...was because one of the words Yukimura's voice actor sings in the army song for the Sanada Clan was 'Nozomi.'
