Thousands of years ago dangerous and horrendous beings roamed the earth. And these beings were known to humankind as monsters. Humans would often run away and scream in terror at the sight of them and sometimes would come at them with weapons meant to kill them. Because of this all the monsters were forced to retreat to the shadows hoping to escape from the abuse and persecution of human beings. But their problems didn't end there. Monsters were constantly at war with each other and battled for territory. Unable to handle or put up with the chaos any longer LUCIFER, the lord and master of the whole monster race created a place where all monsters can live in peace and harmony, a place where they can be themselves, a place where the humans can't harm or bother them again! A place called... the NETHER REALM. Though no longer living in the human world they still resent and fear them all except for one in particular and that monster is...

???: *Knock knock knock* Akira! Quit talking to yourself already and come down stairs for breakfast!
