Imagine sitting on one of the lower steps to the second floor, head in your hands and elbows on your knees, pulled up to your chest. "I just don't understand why we keep coming back to the same issue here," Ashton says after taking a breather and calming himself down. You two had been screaming at each other for a solid hour and both needed to calm down. "Ash, I wish it didn't have to be like this. I'm so exhausted with it all," you say with a sigh, looking up and running a hand through your distressed hair. "Then let it go! You need to stop throwing my past mistakes in my face so we can move forward!" "ASHTON HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO MOVE FORWARD WHEN I KNOW YOU WERE WRAPPED AROUND ANOTHER NAKED WOMAN!" Even though it'd happened nearly 8 months ago, you couldn't get over the fact that Ash had cheated on you while he was on tour. You'd given him all your trust and he had broken it. That wasn't something someone could earn back easily and you were too stubborn to let it go. "I'VE SAID I'M SORRY OVER A MILLION TIMES AND I TRULY AM SORRY! BABE- it was the biggest mistake I've ever made and I know I hurt you beyond belief, I would be livid if you'd done the same. I understand your anger but YOU NEED TO STOP THROWING IT BACK AT ME. I FUCKED UP, OK?!" His face was beat red from yelling and he smacked a kitchen chair over in frustration. You jumped at the loud bang and looked at the ground around your feet; there were several smashed vases and glasses, as well as a few holes in the wall, plaster and dust lying on the floor around them. You both had terrible angers and you'd even shoved Ashton by the shoulders several times. "I wish I could," you barely whisper. As the words leave your mouth, your heart shatters. There's no way you'll ever be able to get over what he did to you. Just the thought of his lips on another woman's, his hands running down her bare legs and through her hair, makes you feel sick and broken. Sighing, you stand and slowly make your ways up the steps. Heading straight into your room, you recklessly throw your clothes and other belongings into suitcases and duffle bags. An hour or so later, you come back downstairs with your load and find Ashton where you left him, except he'd sat down in the middle of all the glass and was crying, his whole body shaking with each silent sob. "I'm sorry Ashton. I love you but I- I cant do this. It's destroying me, more than it already has. I need to try and move on. I won't be able to but I need to just-" A sob catches in your throat and you can't keep talking, your mouth is dry. You fall to your knees and wrap your arms around his shoulders, crying into his neck as he holds you tight. You feel the glass cutting into your knees but you don't care. For these last few moments, you need to hold your love and say goodbye. "I'm so sorry Melanie," Ashton sobs and squints, looking deep into your eyes, tears streaming down his cheeks. He truly was sorry, too; you could see it in his beautiful eyes and hear it in his sincere voice. You press your lips against his for the last time and stand, brushing the glass off your legs and ignoring the small trickles of blood running down your shins. "Goodbye Ashton Irwin. I'll always love you." You pick up your bags and leave out the front door, not turning to look back. As you close your car door, you hear more shattering glass inside.

I know this is sad, the theme was 'Turning Tables' by Adele. I've never done an imagine based off a song before so I hope it's okay? It's for @AhoyyAshton, enjoy Melanie :) I love you babe <3
