Arc One: ACES and JOKERS

Axel let out a great exhale while messing his hair, "And here I thought that the Syndicate would be bombing us with fireballs and such!"

"Maybe, they got scared and never continued their plans?" Kai was somewhat relieved to imagine about the situation he just presented.

"Negative, probability of the ACE Syndicate giving up the package is 2%." Kai thought twice whether it was Zoe's monotonous voice that he heard or if it was a robot's.

"Still, don't you think that it is still possible that they'd give up the package? I mean even the probability says that the chances, although small, is not an absolute zero percent?" Kai pushed his argument, trying to think that this mission would be piece of cake.

There was no response from anyone. Perhaps Zoe was calculating and processing the validity of Kai's argument, Iris was obviously not taking part in the conversation, Axel seemed to be getting irritated from being bored.

The three protagonists are now walking at the wide and empty main highway -- or a bridge if you consider the fact that the road they are currently in was above a wide river -- that the government purposely reserved, the police escort and the package was steadily going towards the Asterisk. This road was the a special entrance to the Central District where almost all government agencies stay. Yes, the highway is an exclusive road for the purpose of escorting highly valued persons and things from the city to the Central District. A road called as "Special Road".

Axel let out another great sigh, "Still, I want a fireball to explode that police vehicle in front..."

BOOM!

The red-haired young man nodded with his eyes closed, "Mm-hmm... Yeah like that..."

As he opened his eyes, Axel saw his two teammates staring at the police escort. As he took a look towards the escorts, he felt shock and excitement... The first police car was already engulfed in flames, the police officers were outside their cars and were aiming their guns towards at one point...

Kai looked towards the point where all guns were aiming. Amidst the thick smoke and the glowing embers from the blazing car, three silhouettes could be seen.

"They stepped in, at last." Iris reported to Zoe.

"Eh?" Kai darted a shocked and puzzled look towards Iris, then shifted his gaze to the seemingly excited Axel.

"It's them," Axel's eyes were on fire, looking excitedly at three figures, as he punched his hand, "ACES."

The silhouette revealed three males:

The one on the right was seemingly thin and slender, wearing a dark blue clothing the same as a ninja's. His lower face was covered by a mask that only his seemingly narrow and small purple eyes were visible. His black hair was tied into a ponytail, however his hair was standing. In fact, one could think that he spent a day or two just to style his hair with a dozen hair wax, hairsprays , gels, and whatnot.

The man on the left was huge, however. His body was tall and well-built that although he was wearing a helmet similar to a knight's, he was still more of a gladiator than a knight. What was striking the most is the fact that his body looked like it was made of steel, literally.

But Kai felt a chill in his spines when he looked at the man at the center.

He was wearing a sleeveless white hoodie with red linings that exposed his finely etched arms. His eyes being as cold as ices is merely an understatement. In fact, one could say that his eyes were colder than ice, colder than the monotonous Zoe and the girl beside Kai. It was as if he was unmerciful and prideful. Lastly, his hair... His hair was silver, one could also argue that it was white, whiter than fresh snow. It was short, true, but it was soft and one could think that it was silk.
