And so we meet again

Chap. 12

I could feel how exhausted I was, my odds of winning are low.  I have  fought a lot of people and Ace hasn't, the whole point of me being a contender in the game was to fight Ace and see who wins

"MYA! ARE YOU THERE, EARTH TO MYA WAKEY WAKEY SLEEPING BEAUTY!" A familiar voice shouted as I was being shook on the sofa to wake up

"Huh? What happened?" I asked confused

"You fell asleep" said Isabella "and now it's your fight"

"Oh. Right. Yeah"

"Ace is waiting on the mat"

"Yeah. I'm coming" I said trying to wake myself up

Okay Mya, you got this

I walked onto the mat and rubbed my eyes after still being sleepy

"Oh so you woke from your hundred year sleep" Ace joked

"Hey, this isn't a Disney film! Shut up" I said tiredly

"But seriously, are you gunna be okay to fight? You've already fought 5 people, do you have the strength?" He asked concernedly

"I've come this far and I'm not backing out now"

"Are you sure? I mean you're clearly tired and-"

"I'm fine now come on lets brawl" I laughed a little

"If you say so" he finished

I went to my side of the mat and he went to his and sent me a cheeky smile

"COME ON MYA!" I heard Isabella shout and I smiled back at her

"COME ON ACE!" Isabella shouted again

Just before Ace could thank her I interrupted

"DONT CHEER THE ENEMIE!"

"Hey she's just cheering for a friend!" Ace laughed

"Yeah some friend she is" I mumbled

Okay so the fight you've all been waiting for! 3...2...1...GO!

"Come on then tough guy" I laughed

"Well if you're asking for it" he grinned

Ace dropped down with his leg out and swooped my feet over making me fall back but luckily I managed to get my hands down so I led it through into a back flip and landed gently

"Not so bad" Ace said  and I smiled and raised an eyebrow in return

I went to hit but he blocked me with his arm and I tried again but he blocked again. That went on for while of extremely fast movement

"I'm surprised you can keep up old man" I laughed as I continued to hit and be deflected fast

"IM ONLY A YEAR OLDER THAN YOU" Ace whined laughing and made me laugh as well

I jumped back lightly and smiled because I noticed he was a little out of breath

"Tired yet?" I chucked

"Not a chance" he replied

I went forward and went to hit but he went around me, taking my arm and putting me in a lock

Oh crap, this is how I won the first match

"Trying to use my tactics are we?" I asked and he laughed "not gunna happen buddy" I finished

I turned myself which hurt my arm a little, and I was now facing him. Then, with all my strength, I got him on the floor by swinging him round my shoulder.
