Chapter 9

Jasmin's POV

I went outside to the back yard and sat down and stared at the view. About 1 minute or 2 later, Jack and Jonah come outside and sit next to me. "Why'r you sitting alone, where's Daniel?" Jonah asks. "Bc Daniel's getting ready and I wanted to enjoy the view, but none of ya'll were outside." I respond. "Oh, well we are now so now you don't gotta be so lonely!" Jack says. "Yeah, so let's talk." Jonah says. "Ok, what about?" I ask. "Well about anything really, like what's your favorite part about being in LA?" Jonah asks. "Well I guess it'd have to be living with Logan cuz he was always my favorite subling." I say "And what about Jake?" Jack asks. "I mean Jake's a good brother and all, but I always had more in common with Logan, so I always hung out with him more often." I say. "Ok well I got another question." Jack says. "Ask away." I say. "How come you moved to LA? Like has it always been your dream to live here? Or what made you decide to move to LA?" Jack asks. "Well it's like I said about the Logan thing, I had always had a lot in common with him and so when I turned 18 about 3 months ago, Logan had asked me if I wanted to move in, in November, so I said yes bc he was always telling me how nice it was in LA, plus I missed hanging out with my big brother so I decided to move to LA." I say answering Jack's question. "Well we're glad you moved here! Bc now you make our bestfriend happy, and we got a new friend out of it too!" Jonah says. "Well I'm glad I moved here too, I love living here and hanging out with you guys, it's really fun!" I say. 30 seconds later, Daniel walks outside and sits next to us. "Well I'm done getting ready, what were you 3 doing while I was getting ready?" Daniel asks. "Just talking getting to know Jasmin a little better." Jonah says. "Oh cool, so what'r we doing today?" Daniel asks. "Wait don't we have to go pick up Christina from the airport today?" Jack asks. "Oh shit yeah we do in like an hour." Daniel says. "Wait Christina's coming?!" I say while fangirling a little. "Yeah she is for Corbyn's birthday this weekend, but it's a surprise so don't tell Corbyn, he'll find out later today when we bring her back to the house." Daniel says. "Ok I promise I won't tell." I say. "If you want me and Jasmin can go get her and you guys can keep him accupied and keep him out of the house for about 3 hours so we can plan a little surprise for him." Daniel says. "Yeah, but where do we tell him you two went?" Jack asks. "Just tell him that me and Daniel went on a date he'll believe it." I say. "Ok, well then I think you guys should get going now so you're not late and so he doesn't suspect anything." Jonah says. "Ok we'll see you guys in a couple hours I'll text you when we've picked her up from the airport so ya'll can get Corbyn outta the house and text Zach about it rn so he knows what's going on." Daniel says. "Ight bye you two." Jack and Jonah say. We walk back inside so Daniel can go get the keys to the car. "Where are you two going?" Corbyn asks. "We're gonna go on a date." Daniel says. "But who's gonna watch me and Zach?" Corbyn asks. "Jack and Jonah will watch you two." I say. "Ok well have fun bye mom and dad we love you!." Zach and Corbyn say. "We love you too." Daniel and I say. We both get into the car and I sit in the passengers seat and Daniel drives. "Instead of waiting at the airport for like an hour, you wanna go somewhere until she texts and tells us to go get her?" Daniel asks. "Yeah sure, but where?" I ask. "We could go get some ice cream or something." Daniel says. "Yeah sure!" I say." 10 mins later we arrive at an ice cream shop and when we're done ordering our ice cream, we talk for a little bit and as soon as we finish our ice cream, Daniel gets a text. "Christina just texted she said her flight just landed let's go pick her up." Daniel says.  "Ok let's go." I respond.

Jonah's Pov

The rest of us are back at the house and next thing you know I get a text from Daniel.

Daniel: She just texted saying her plane landed we're gonna go get her, so I'd start heading out of the house now.

Jonah: Ok thanks for the heads up ttyl bye

Daniel: Bye

"Ok that was Daniel and he just texted saying that they won't be back for a couple more hours so you guys wanna do anything until then?" I ask. "Sure like what?" Corbyn asks. "How about we go to the amusement park til they get back?" Zach suggests. "I'm down how bout you guys?" Jack says. "Yeah us too." Corbyn and I say. I text Daniel to let him know that we'll be at the amusement park for a couple hours til they're done setting up everything and getting everything done for Corbyn's surprise.

Daniel's Pov

"Jonah just texted saying they're gonna be at the amusement park for a couple hours til we're all done with everything." I say. "Oh ok, so how long is the drive to the airport from here?" Jasmin asks. "About 15-20 mins at the most." "Oh ok." Jasmin says. Next thing you know I hear Jasmin's phone go off someone was texting her. "Who's that?" I ask. "It's Logan." Jasmin says. "Oh, what's he want?" I ask. "Idk, but he says it's important and that I should facetime him as soon as I see this." Jasmin says. "Ok well since it's important you should call him rn." I say. "Ok I will." Jasmin says.

Jasmin's Pov

"Logan's what happened?" Wait why are you and Evan crying??" I ask confused. "So you know how Arya was supposed to go to surgery today?" Logan asks. "Yeah...did something go wrong?? Is she ok?!" I ask as a tear comes down my face. "Actually, she's not, s-she died." Logan says as a tears start to come down his face. "No this can't be true, Logan you're fucking with me right?! Please tell me you're fucking with me!" I yell in sadness. "I wish I was Jasmin, I wish I was but sadly it's true." Logan says. As soon as Logan said the words "She died" I lost it, I started crying badly, I know it's true bc Logan and Evan rarely ever cry, I just I can't believe it, I don't want it to be true, this can't be true I thought to myself, but it is. "Well I'm gonna hang up, I just thought you should know, love you kid, stay safe ok, idk what I'd do if something were to happen to you, I'd be completely lost without you, so stay safe, and know that I love you." Logan says. "I love you too Logan." I say while still crying. "Bye, I'll see you later kid." Logan says. "Bye see you later bro." I say. I hang up and I start to cry even more. "I'm so sorry that this happened, is there anything that I could do to make you feel better princess?" Daniel asks. "Just you being here by my side makes me feel better, I'm still really fucking sad, but at least I have you to help me get through this difficult time." I say. "And you always will." Daniel says. For the rest of the car ride, I start to fall asleep a little for about 10 mins. "Wake up sleepy head we're here." Daniel says. "But I don't wanna get up." I say. "Ok then I'll carry you!" Daniel says. "Ok that works with me." I say. When Daniel was carrying me into the airport so we could pick up Christina, we look for the gate exit where she's coming from. "Wait I think I see her." I say. "Where?" Daniel asks. "Over there." I say. "Oh I see her now, let's go walk towards her, you can put me down now btw." I say. "Ok, now let's go." Daniel says. We walked towards Christina and I started to fangirl bc I loved her videos. "You ok?" Daniel asks while laughing. "Yes, it's just that I'm a really big fan of Christina!!!" I say in excitment. Next thing we know we're standing right in front of each other and I start to fangirl really badly. "OMG OMG OMG!!!! You're Christina!!! Omg I can't believe I'm meeting you, you have no idea how much I love you and your videos, you are literally one of my idols! It's so great to finally meet you! I say in excitment. "Awwww, that's so sweet! It's so nice to meet a fan! But really, thank you for watching my videos it really means a lot to me. But I didn't catch your name, what is it?" Christina says. "Christina, this is Jasmin, my girlfriend, and Jasmin, I'm pretty sure you already know who Christina is." Daniel says with laughter. "Oh so that's why you look so familiar! I've seen tons of pictures of you two together on Instagram! Well it's really nice to meet you!" Christina says. "Ok that's enough chit chat for now, bc now we gotta go to the party store and buy all the supplies for Corbyn's before birthday surprise." Daniel says. "Ok fine, Jasmin we can just talk in the car." Christina says. "Ok fine by me!" I say.
