Chapter 39

~5 days later~

~Daniel's pov~

This past week has been amazing and i owe it all to one person, Jasmin. She brought me home for my birthday and i'm incredibly thankful. 

"Man i cant believe we have to leave tmr." i said in a sad tone. "i know honey, we're gonna miss you but it was great to have you back home for a bit we really missed you, and you too Jasmin thx for bringing my son home for his birthday." said my mom. "Don't thank me, i just wanted him to have a good birthday and when he said he didnt wanna do anything it upset me but i decided the best thing to do was bring him to his home for a bit so he could be with his family." Jasmin said. "Seriously Daniel you need to marry her." my mom chuckled. "I plan on it." i said while placing my arms around Jasmin. "I hope it's soon." said my mom. "Mom can i talk to you for a sec? Alone?" i asked. "Yes ofc honey." said. "We'll be back just stay here for a sec ok?" i said to Jasmin. "Alright." Jasmin said. My mom & i went upstairs so we could talk more privately. "So what's up honey?" asked my mom. "Could you please not mention all this marriage stuff around us?" i said. "Why? Do you not wanna marry her? Daniel she's an incredible woman and not to mention she's pregnant with your kids." said my mom. "Mom just hear me out ok? Yes ofc i love her and yes one day i do wanna marry her but we decided we dont wanna get married rn just bc of the babies it's too soon for us and so is having kids but rn this is our responsibility to handle and ik we're gonna do a great job whether we're married rn or not." i said. "Do you realize how proud i am of you Daniel? I mean most guys at your age wouldnt even do what you're doing rn, that let's me know your father & i did a good job of raising you." said my mom. "Yeah you did, but can we please just talk about this later? And please no more marriage stuff around us, we don't wanna rush anything just cuz of the twins and no this isn't just my decision, we've already talked about it." I said. "Alright honey I won't." said my mom. 

~A Couple hours later~

~Jasmin's POV~

So it's our last day here in Portland and we've just been spending as much time as we can with Daniel's family. I swear they're like the sweetest people on earth. They make me feel at home and omg they're just the best. I'm glad I did this for him.
