' NOUS AVONS ÉTÉ
PERDUS À L'HEURE '
9as said, time had passed. the grasps of love hadn't ever let go, as they liked each other. soon enough, yoongi faded, and life had lost it's meanings.
yoongi walked home, in fear and sadness. he understood that she needed time, but he couldn't help but worry. he didn't bring a car either, which created more stress. he ended up walking home.
although he promised to go home safely for suki, god defied by that promise.
—
in the morning, min yoongi was found collapsed on a sidewalk by the streets. his body was unstable, and blood was to be leaking out by then. his medical terms were in horrid shape. luckily, a tall man, with small spectacles, found him; calling the emergency state number.
his injuries became widespread all over the news, since daegu didn't have as much of injuries, or anything local.
yoongi was rushed to the hospital, in bad terms.
—
suki ended up turning on the tv, until getting blasted by notifications from her phone.
"960 DAEGU LOCAL NEWS ! : CITIZEN MIN YOONGI HAS BEEN FOUND INJURED, OTHERS CLAIM TO HAVE SEEN HIM PASSED OUT BY A SIDEWALK."
suki read each word bit by bit, until she got into his name. why, why did his name have to be there?
why couldn't he just be safe for her? was it's god's will? or her hurtings?
she quickly pulled her coat over, and ran out through the front door. heading for the hospital, she ran to the receptionist. she was sent to an emergency operation room, where he was lying there, lifeless.
he had a mask on, connected by a machine to determine if he's alive. the aura of the room gave off vibes of depression, and lost hopes.
she went and sat by him, crying her eyes out. she sobbed, for hours. her fingers were crossed, in hopes that he'd stay alive. but to think about it, the alcohol and drugs could've effected him. he was hurt. and that's what she couldn't bare. she could've been his girlfriend, if he didn't go outside that night in a state of depression. he collapsed in his own weaknesses, but it only hurt her more.
"yoongi." there was no response, but complete silence.
"i love you. i wish.. that time didn't pass like it did." she softly spoke.
suddenly, the machine started beeping, as straight lines were only appearing. suki reacted immediately, and screamed for a doctor's attention. she grasped onto yoongi's cold hand, her tears flowing onto them. a few doctors barged in, and smiled sadly.
"WHY AREN'T YOU DOING ANYTHING? HE'S DYING!?"
"we're sorry."
"what?"
"we've lost him."
"that can't be!—"
"after poisoning himself with drugs and alcohol, his side effects kicked in. i'm sorry for your loss." the doctors looked down, in sympathy. suki stayed quiet, looking back at yoongi. he'd already left her, like her past boyfriends. she couldn't do anything, though. this had striked her.
—
( 3 YEARS LATER )
suki walked down the trail, over the trees, with seungwoo. yoongi's family ended up in mourning, as they also ended up caring for yoongi. even seungwoo had a change in heart. but, suki didn't think that anything could compare.
they followed behind into a hooded cave, with a few steps to the tip. there, laid a cemetery. with green lands, and withering plants. each step she took, toward his grave, was full of nostalgia. the small amount of memories were already enough to hurt her. this world was a cruel place. life had already tore suki and yoongi apart.
she went up to his stone, and placed a flower. looking into the skies, she was reminded of the skies that were viewed from his apartment. or, the time that they spoke about stars. and that now, he's his own star.
"suki?"
"yes?"
"maybe life isn't meant for everyone."
