Dan and I kissed for a while.
I held him close, making sure he didn't fall from the tree.
"You know," Dan begins, "I've never felt this way with anyone I've been with before."
"Really?" I ask, holding him closer.
"Yeah."
"I'm glad I can be here for your journey then," I say and smile, kissing his temple.
