Levy's POV

I can not believe that monster just dragged me up to this bedroom; why does it seem like he cares about me. I would've preferred to stay in that cell, so I can die in my thoughts and loneliness. I lost my Father and freedom in just a few hours: how am I going to cope with all this.

"Good evening miss." A sweet voice called.

"Who said that?" I asked, searching the room for a person.

"You've been through a lot, I figured you'd need a friend." A dainty feather duster with golden feathers danced along the wood flooring. "My name's Lucy."

"You're, you're, you're a feather duster." I said fully shocked.

"Unfortunately I am." She sighed.

"Umm, if you don't mind me asking but why are you like that?" I was insanely curious.

"This castle has been bearing with a curse; one that our Master must break."

"You mean that." I gasped.

"Yes. We were all once his generous servants but he wasn't so generous himself. Somebody tried to seek shelter here but he rudely refused. It turned out to be a witch who cast a curse here."

"This sounds like a fairy tale." I concluded.

"It does. All my friends are now objects: some can not move now, others are slowing losing reality and are becoming inanimate."

"Oh dear."  A wave of sympathy hit me, realizing that these objects have been stuck in this place for I don't know how long. "I'm sorry."

"Honey it's not your problem to worry about. For now we have to change you out of those clothes for dinner." She glided in front to the wardrobe. "Meet Juvia."

"Oh." The blue wardrobe yawned. "Do I have to wake up?"

"Yes." The golden feather duster hissed. "There's a girl here!"

"A girl!" Juvia sung, opening the drawers and door automatically with glee. "At least, we're saved."

"Juvia calm down." The feather duster and the girl laughed till the wardrobe stopped moving.

"I'm sorry, what would you like to wear dear?"

"I don't want to have dinner with him." I huffed, sitting on a corner of the bed. "Why should I?"

"Oh dear, he won't like that." Lucy whimpered. "Please you must. He's been lonely these past few years."

"And I'm going to be LONELY FOREVER! THAT THING TOOK AWAY MY FREEDOM, AND I WON'T BE ABLE TO SEE MY FATHER! I couldn't say goodbye." Tears streamed down my face as I curled into a ball, clinging to my tattered dress.

"Miss, could you please spend this one dinner with him?" Juvia asked nicely.

"My name's Levy. You keep calling me Miss or Dear."

"Well Levy, please just do as he says, for now. Or compromise at least."

"I'll join him for dinner but I'm not changing."

"Thank you Levy." Lucy glided to me, a little breeze following her feathers. "Everyone will appreciate it."

"Is the lady ready?" A bronze, ancient clock popped through the door.

Gajeel's POV

Gray decided he was going to see if she was ready: I didn't want to be intrusive using my magic mirror. I should at least be nicer.

"Why aren't you changed?" The small woman stepped out with her tattered dress still on, and a bright pink ring was around her wrist.

"Why aren't you changed?" She snapped at me, reflecting the my question to her back to me.

"Watch your tone otherwise you won't be eating!" I threatened, pointing a ignorant finger at her.

"Master!" Gray whispered harshly. "Be nicer."

"It's okay little clock." The bluenette comforted, a cute smile on her lips. "I've dealt with much worse over the years."

"So there are worse than me?" I chuckled deeply.

"Oh yes, one in particular I talked with this morning. He wanted me to marry him and I told him to ask me in 30 years when I want a vain prick."

"Are you saying I'm similar to a vain prick." I growled like a wolf.

"I don't know, am I?" She giggled sarcastically.

"Levy, don't." Lucy mumbled, halfway out the door.

"From what I've heard and guessed you're a selfish bastard, who disrespects your own servants because you thought you were better than them." She chirped with triumph, who stared at me with her big brown eyes, stirring something deep inside me; she's going to drive me insane.

"Listen here Shrimp." I forced her against the wall, almost tripping her over Gray. "You keep saying stuff like that I'll personally make sure that your tongue is cut off."

"Go ahead, I'm not wasting my voice on you." She waggled her tongue out her mouth cheekily.

"No food, it'll kill you quicker, if that's what you want." I yell, pushing her onto the bedroom's wooden floor. She winced, soothing her left arm.

I slammed her door and stomped to the grand dining hall, where a decent meal was prepared for the both of us. Starving I ripped off bits of chicken of a leg and wolfed the meal down, knowing I was being stared at by my nosy servants. Natsu swung nimbly up a chair and was hopping towards me.

"Gajeel." This was the first time in years he called me by my name. "Can you control your temper?"

"How can I? She's so stubborn." I grunted, swallowing a piece of meat.

"Like you Master." Natsu dared to say.

"I'm not stubborn." I pouted like a spoiled child.

"Master, please. Many of us are so hopeful. Don't let this chance slip by."

"I know Natsu, I know. I'll take her some breakfast okay?"

"That's it Master, well done." He applauded me with his wax hands, making quite a fiery moment.

"Are you trying to burn the place down?" I howled with laughter.

"I'm sorry Gajeel."

"Well Goodnight."

I departed to my bedroom, passing her room, where I couldn't help but overhear; she was crying, the sound muffled from a cushion of some-sorts. Lucy and Juvia were desperately trying to comfort her, which I'll praise them for later. Such a delicate, feisty woman was in my reach but I never could reach out to comfort her: she hates me, and who wouldn't blame her for that.
