- the biggest plot hole is the fact that these 20 something idols are in high school. i guess if you just forget about it, then everything else lines up. {this story is currently under construction.}
☾
I walked down the endless high school hallways, trying to get to my locker as usual. Being a first year, I was a little quiet, wanting be known as polite. But that didn't make me any friends. No one at school approached me, and I guess I was too afraid to make the first move. That was probably why I was such an easy target. Pathetic, right?
I took my things and walked towards my homeroom class, but because of the swarm students, it would always be a challenge to get in. I've never been clumsy, but it was hard to avoid getting tripped. Especially when it was intentional. Eun Yi always tormented me. It was difficult to escape her, because she'd always find a way to overpower me, from blackmail to physical abuse. At least none of the bruises were in obvious places.
Eun Yi pushed her foot forward, and I felt yourself lose balance. I could feel people watch me as I almost hit the ground.
Almost.
I shut my eyes, waiting for the impact, but it turns out, I didn't touch the ground. I felt arms wrap around my waist. I heard people whisper and gasp. Fuck. This is gonna be awkward as shit. I looked up and saw a boy a rectangular smile. I've never seen this guy at school, or anywhere else. He brought you back on your feet. How cliché.
"Are you okay?" The nameless boy asked.
"Uh, yeah. Thanks," I said effortlessly, and quickly walked into the classroom. I sauntered over to my seat, and lazily sat down. I then waited for the teacher to arrive.
Mr. Yang, my homeroom teacher, came into the room with a smile on his face. He looked at the students as if he had an announcement to make. Not that I really cared, anyway. He settled the class down and said, "Okay, we have three new students here in this classroom. When they come in, I would like you guys to please try to stay calm as you possibly can. These students are from... BTS. Please come in now."
Three boys entered the classroom and bowed. I then realized that the boy with the rectangular smile was one of the three. I heard plenty of girls scream and gasp, while I was trying to figure out who they were. I didn't really know why these girls were screaming, but it's not like I had any part in whatever was going on.
"Please introduce yourselves," said Mr. Yang.
The first boy smiled slightly and said, "Hello, my name is Jeon Jungkook." All the girls in the class started fangirling for some particular reason.
The second boy flashed a unique eye smile and the girls screamed while I put my hands over my ears. "Hello, my name is Park Jimin. Please take care of me." The chaos in the class increased.
The third boy, seemingly the one who caught me earlier, smiled his rectangular smile and waved directly at me. I looked away as he said, "Hi! My name is Kim Taehyung, but you can always call me 'V'!" The girls pretty much fainted on their desks.
"Thank you boys," said Mr. Yang. "Please sit in any of the empty seats."
I was quite the outcast, so no one ever sat in the desks around me. Again, not that I cared.
The three guys made their way towards the desks near me. I ended up sitting next to Jungkook and Taehyung and behind Jimin.
During class, Taehyung kept poking my shoulder and tried to get my attention, but I ignored. If those guys were such a big deal to the girls, then I don't want to get involved. It's not my problem.
➸ Next Day
I walked into school this morning, with Eun Yi pulling my hair. She called me a dog and cooed at me as if I were one. I couldn't do anything. She said that if I resisted, than she'll steal my necklace. My grandmother made this necklace, so I gave into her. Now that I think about it, I should've just given her the necklace.
She pulled me along the hallways, and no one even tried to help me out. I guess that's just how my life is.
Time slowly passed by, and finally, lunchtime had arrived. Thankfully, Eun Yi had gone to hang out with her two minions instead of me. I received my lunch and sat at my usual, empty table. I ate quietly, minding my own business.
"Hi!" It was a familiar voice, but I didn't look up. I didn't that the person was talking to me. A moment passed, until someone sat in the seat across from me. "Hey, you're in my homeroom class, right?"
I face the owner of the voice. It's the same guy from earlier. The one with the rectangular smile. What was his name again? I forgot.
The guy doesn't wait for my answer. "My name is Taehyung. What's yours?"
"Uh... Y/N," I say softly. "Did you need something?"
He smiled slightly. "I was hoping we could be friends. How about it?"
I looked at him in suspicion. "Why me? There's a lot of other students here. I don't think you'd want to waste your time with my boring self."
"You can't change my mind. Just take the offer," he said, laughing.
I smiled a bit at his assertiveness. Kind of funny, actually. "Sure, I guess." Maybe if I had some friends, Eun Yi would fuck off.
