Chapter 1

(Stefan’s P.O.V)

I went out hunting at about midday thinking I was going to be alone when I heard what sounded like a woman running…only at an abnormal speed. It didn’t sound like Elena or anyone else I know for that matter so I ducked behind a bolder looking rock and snuck up behind her. I pinned her to a tree and suspected my eyes were deceiving me. It looked like……

(Caroline’s P.O.V)

“Caroline?” I heard Stefan say looking like he didn’t believe it was me. “Hey Stefan, long time no see” I said bluntly. “Caroline what are you doing here. No where have you been for the past 50 years?!” Stefan half yelled half whispered. “Jeez Stefan don’t get all ripper on me, I’ve been here and there never staying in one place for too long….how about you what have you been doing?” I asked, stefan let go of me. “Why are you acting like this you sound like Katherine” “Awwww missed you too” I said with arrogance. “What happened to you? The last time I saw you you were this amazing, nice, generous girl who wouldn’t hurt a fly” “well people change you know how the quote goes, things changed in my life I had to adapt…by coming the new and improved Caroline Forbes” I smugly said with a sly smile. “oh my god…..you flipped the switch, Caroline why would you do that?” Stefan asked still wondering how such a beautiful human…well vampire being could turn into this person. “Stef I don’t know what you’re planning to do so that I flip the switch back on but you…all of you lost the privilege of helping me a long time ago. I don’t need your help, nor do I want it.” “Caroline what did we do that was so bad for you to flip the switch? I can’t recall us doing anything” “That’s just it Stefan! You didn’t do anything, it was always Elena never me, never anyone else, just Elena. I don’t care anymore…in you and everyone else doing that it led me to leave mystic falls and I like myself better this way.” I was walking away but I stopped. “Stefan, people still get on my nerves and I tend to lash out so I suggest you give everyone a fair warning. Or else random people might start getting attacked by a wild animal…just a warning” I snickered and with that I vampire sped off leaving Stefan not knowing what to do. I’m guessing he sped off to the house and told everyone, being Elena, Damon, and Katherine.
