Rani's POV
"MOM I'M HOME!" I yelled while walking in the kitchen.
"You're in big trouble young lady."
"Why what did i do?" i whined.
"what do you mean 'what did you do?' you know what you did." My mother snapped back.
"Well obviously i don't." I snapped back.
"Its because you stayed the night at that boys house!" She yelled
"Mom we are only 13! You think i would really do that. Thanks for calling me a slut mom!" i yelled and ran up to my room.
I plopped down on my bay window seat and took out my phone and texted Hayes.
Hey
Whats up :)
Do you want to hang out in about an hour?
Yeah sure see you then :)
I got up and walked over to my closet and picked out a black crop top with 'Normal is boring' in white letters and a pair of light teal shorts. I got in to the shower and washed my hair and body. I got out and dried off then blow dried my hair. I got dressed and my phone rang.
"Hello?"
"Hey Rani."
"Hey Hayes whats up?"
"Dont wear anything too dressy."
"Why?"
"Because we are going out to do something fun."
"Well okay see you in a bit Hayes." I said
"Okay bye."
"Bye." I hung up and continued with my daily routine.
Once i was done i grabbed my bag and went downstairs.
"Bye mom I'm going over to Hayes' house."
"Oh okay what are you going to do?"
"We are going out some where but i don't know exactly where."
"Ooh my baby is going out on her first date." She came over and hugged me.
"MOM! its not a date!" I said while getting out of her hug.
"Okay sure." She said sarcastically and returned to her TV show
"Bye mom." I said while leaving.
I walk across the yard over to Hayes house. i knocked on the door and Hayes answered.
"Hey come in."
"Hey hayes what are we going to do?" I said as herd a guitar playing but i ignored it.
"Its a surprise oh and is it okay if one of my friends tag along?"
"Yeah." I said as i walked into the living room and i just stood there frozen.
"Rani whats wrong?" Hayes whispered behind me.
"Shawn?" I asked. He looked at me.
"Rani." He said with a smile and got up.
"You two know each other?"
"Yeah she was one of my first fans." Shawn said while putting his arm around my waist and I could see Hayes face turn a light shade if pink.
