Okay, let's discuss dates:
* Thanksgiving was November 23
* I fast forwarded 3 weeks making it December 14th
* Tanya's birthday was that Saturday-December 16
* Now, for this chapter, I'm fast forwarding 2 days-December 18
I just wanted to include this so that the dates don't become confusing. Now, onto the chapter.

"Baaaabe." Tanya whined in the phone.
She was home by herself so I was on my way there to help her. I called her to make sure nothing happened that I didn't know about while I drove there. I guess she said something to me but I was focused on the road.
"Tanya, stop whining." I said, turning on her street.
"I was telling you about my day and you were ignoring me."
"I wasn't ignoring you, baby. I was paying attention to the road."
"Oh." She said. "Is that you outside?"
"Yeah, I'm getting out the car now."
I disconnected my phone from the car's Bluetooth and placed it to my ear. Closing my door, I opened the backdoor and pulled out the bag of snacks she asked me to get. I closed back the door and locked the car before going to the front door and unlocking it with the spare key Ty gave me.
"Baby!" I heard Tanya yell from upstairs.
I laughed, shaking my head. I hung up the phone and went upstairs. Her bedroom door was open so I walked in, placing the bag on her dresser. I walked to the bed, kicked my shoes off, and crawled between her legs, laying on her right thigh since she got shot in her left.
"You missed me baby?" I asked, rubbing her exposed legs.
She had on a pair of red spandex shorts, a plain white crop top, and her hair was tied back in a ponytail.
Damn, she looked good...
"Yeah." She said, playing in my hair.
I need a haircut...
"Good." I smiled, looking up at her. "I missed my lil rider too."
"I'm ya rider now?" She asked.
"Baby, you been my rider since the day I met you."
"Couldn't tell cause to me, you were just an arrogant asshole." She shrugged.
"Sorry baby, that's just me." I laughed. "You love me though."
"I do." She leaned down and pecked my lips.
"So, finish telling me about ya day."
"Well," she said. "for starters, my thigh hurts like a bitch."
"Did you take ya pain meds?"
