The battle was brutal. Blood was spilt everywhere around me, as I stared at my fallen soldiers and their limb bodies sprawled in the mud underneath me.

How could I have done this to my army? I left them for dead!!

"Fuck" I whisper in a tiny hushed voice, scared that the Creatures would find me in this dark cave. The Blood is the only warm thing in here. I cling to the wall behind me and consider the things I did in my life.

I was considered a Perfect General of the high order of Hunters. We help keep humanity safe from all of the savages that are different to us and would hurt us. We are the helpless but powerful human beings, they are the demonic creatures of the night.

I look down at the wound on my leg, still bleeding and dripping warm blood on the coarse mud. I rip off a piece of cloth from my uniform and make a tourniquet the best I can.

After I adjust the tourniquet, I rest my back on the wall of the cave again.

Then I hear loud footsteps.

I eyes widen to the sound, panic rushing in my veins.

***

My breathing fills the empty air as I go in deeper into the cave.

When does this end?!!!!!

I keep jogging, ignoring the pain in my leg.

I need to survive.

My feet stomp on the mud underneath me as I try to find a haven in this inky cave. I slide my hands on the walls, just to find a different direction and to keep me steady.

Then feel a door.

I stop abruptly, face the door and pat it down with my hands. The i feel a door knob

That's weird, why would a door be in here?

I turn the door knob and stumble inside. The sight I see is breath taking.

The cavernous space is lit with natural light, which includes lava and bacteria above. I look up to see the light above on the cave wall, but realise that is wasn't bacteria. What ever is was, it could be manipulated. I saw patterns and images on the ceiling of the cave.

It was marvelous.

The painted pictures above were linked together with lines and orchestrated a story.

The first picture represented a battle with dogs and humans, with two dogs attacking human in the middle. Dogs? Why would humans fight with dogs? I rubbed my eyes and squinted at the painting and my eyes widened. They're not dogs.

They're Werewolves.

I followed along the glittering lights and took in the monstrosity. There were so many fights and death everywhere. I reached the last few lights and saw a sunrise on the rolling hills of a beautiful field. The I saw some thing more beautiful than that, a couple.

Love

The man had brown hair and glimmering green eyes. He was well built and was staring in awe at the girl. The girl was beautiful. she had nice wavy hair and brown skin, a smile playing on her lips.Something didn't seem right about the man in the pairing, he had a shadow of a werewolf behind him and the girl didn't.

What does that mean?

Underneath there was some stranger scribblings, which I was guessing was a different dialect

The I hear growling and steps echo around.

"Shit" I whisper to the abyss and find a place to hide in. The light was enough to mauver around and I found a little crook in the cave wall and squeezed myself in there, desperately trying to hide. I hear the stomping and scraping of their claws on the cave walls, with each noise inching closer than the next.

I hear many footsteps, IS THERE MORE THAN ONE?!?!?!?!

They stop in front of me, pointing their noses around in the musty air. I hold my breath.
They're coming for me
As soon as I think that one of them grabs me by my collar and pulls me, clawing at my uniform and ripping it at the seams.
"LET GO YOU FILTHY BEASTS!!!!!!!" I try to swat the ginormous claws away from me as a fumble to find something on my body that will keep me safe. Then I found the little ankle knife. I jabbed at the beast and it whimpered in pain, that whimper turning into a man screaming.
" I got 1 fu-" then I get yanked by my neck.
Next thing I knew I was being crushed, I felt my ribs snap and blood gushing out of my mouth. I gargle, trying to breathe, all I feel is pain. Then one of them looks me in the eyes. Its eyes were red, the colour of the alphabet shone his teeth in a menacing way as he squeezed my throat. With all the life I had in me, I spat in the beasts face.
"You shouldn't have done that." He chuckled in his human voice.

Then I felt the bottom half of my body tear off and I start to lose my life.
