I wake up to the sun lighting up the room in beautiful shades of orange. The air is musty but sweet as it flows in from the open window. Nate tightens his arm around me as I stare at the amazing colour on the ceiling.
"How early is it." I say in a wispy voice. Nate breathes me in and anger seethes inside me as I remember last night.
"It's early." He says in his morning voice as he rubs my side, soothing me. I turn to face him, his hair is in a mess, his eyes a deep blue as he smiles warmly down at me.
I breathe him in, feeling goosebumps ripple through my body as a strange feeling swirls in my stomach.
I don't know what I feel about him.
"I have to meet Grayson to-"
"Why?" Nate interupted me
"I'm trying to get info out of him, hoping that will help our cause." Which is protecting humans from the wrath of wolves.
"How?" Oh shit, he doesn't know. But how doesn't he know? Was he drunk yesterday?
I take in a deep breath through my nose, smelling the faint scent of vodka mixed in his must.
Shit he was. Should I tell him?

I pull my shorts down again as they start rising up my thighs. I hold my phone out in front of me as I follow the crowd and make my way to the coffee place Grayson sent me the address to to go meet him. The city is bustling today, with people walking around me everywhere. Sometimes bumping into me, whispering their apologies and making their way.
I love this city.
My blue off shoulder top sways in the light wind as I turn the corner to the famous street filled with graffiti on its walls. I love this place, it got rid of all the stress and replaces it with a type of bliss. Like home.
"You like this place." I hear a voice behind me.
I turn to find a man about my age with light brown eyes and dark brown coloured hair. His eyebrow was pierced and his skin was pale, with the only colour on his face being his eyes and his lips. He had a mischievous grin playing about his lips and eyes full of wonder and electric energy.
"Yes, one of my favourite places in the city." I smiled back at him, he seemed nice.
"My name is Richard. You can call me Rich."
"Hey Rich, my name is Alishia, don't call me any short names." At that he chuckles lightly, although there are wrinkles at the edges of his eyes.
"Hey come with me, I have more places we can go to." Tempted, I decide to decline.
"Sorry but I have to decline, I have somewhere to be."
"It's alright girly, I'll see you soon." He walked away down the alley and turned onto the street. One question.
What did he mean by 'I'll see you soon'?
I shrug it off and walk towards the coffee shop. This morning I decided to not tell Nate about the boys for a while, to seem like I will comply with them and be their ally. You know, miss lead them.
Nate went out today to the training grounds and the 'tribe hall' as I like to call it. It's where all the hunters unite to do meetings and shit.
I don't really care about that, but Nate does.
I take a seat on one of the tables inside and stare outside, searching for Grayson. I go on my phone and pull up his number and quickly type him a text.
Me: Hey where are you?
I press send and anticipate for him, at that moment someone touches my shoulder and I jerk my head towards Grayson.
"I thought you were going to stand me up." I stood up and hugged him, realising at the last moment that he is a werewolf. My eyes widen as realisation hits. He freezes in his place and hugs me back, breathing me in and holding on to me for way longer than usual. I peel myself off of him and give him a warm smile. He smiles back and we sit down.
"How was your morning?" He says, still having that glint in his eye.
"Well it was good, I had some eggs and bacon that Nate made for me and then I decided to head off after that and roam in the city for a bit." At the mention of Nate's name his jaw clenches and his eyes glazed over, loosing that gorgeous glint.
"How is he? I hope he's not hurt..." He says flatly. Keeping his cool, I don't want him to loose it, I need to get information.
"He is good yeah, I had to half carry him to... his house," I lie "I had to park his car and then I went to sleep." I smile back at him. He eases up a bit at the lie and I gulp down the feeling of guilt.
He nods, a small smile on his beautiful lips...
Concentrate.
But that doesn't happen. I gawk at him as he holds the intense stare. I see millions of things flash in his eyes, like he wants to tell me so much things but he can't. I feel longing towards him. I don't know why.
He feels familiar.
"Let's get coffee." I smile and get up from my seat and he follows suit.
We stand in the line together and I pull my shorts down again. I look over to my left to see a guy staring at me. I smile at him, then I hear a deep growl from behind me.
I furrow my eyebrows and turn to look at a completely red Grayson who has clenched his fists and jaw, narrowing his eyes at him. I widen my eyes realising that Grayson is on the edge of flinging the guy across the room.
I put my hand on his chest, instantly he looks at me. Anger has now been wiped away from his face and he holds me by my waist. I let him, smiling at him, I need to get info from him.
The place where his hands are touching me tingles and violins start playing in my head, like I'm in the Great Gatsby or something. He stares into me, searching through my soul. I'm afraid that he might find my deepest secret that I have just realised.
He smirks and does the unthinkable.
He kisses me.
