I got home quickly and after checking the time I saw that I only had two hours and a minute before Mom's return.

Two hours isn't enough to clean the house, bathrooms and toilets, the kitchen and dishes, prepare food and empty the trash can.

Oh God there's no escaping this time.

Giving my best shot I started with the kitchen, cleaning and dusting away dusts from affected surfaces.  After washing the dishes, I quickly set to cooking.
Leaving the food to boil I rushed to the living room where I began setting justice to it.

Running back to the kitchen after I was done to check the food I immediately removed it then began boiling water for tea.

Quickly running to my mom's room I also saw to it leaving no corner untouched.

Dashing off to the dinning room I began setting the table for two after which I went upstairs to my room where I tiredly cleaned then emptied out all the trash in the trash can.

Then looked for where to empty the trash can at this time of the day.

Running back to the house I went to the kitchen where I removed the bubbling water pouring it into a tea jug.  Quickly grabbing two tea cups I took them all to the table alone with the food and utensils.

Seeing it on was two minutes before Mom's return I sighed out in relief.

Not too long the door opened and mom entered closing it behind her.
Rushing to her I collected what she wants me to then came back and joined her in eating dinner.

"The food is a bit salty at your age you can't even prepare a proper meal."

Speechless I stared at her with my mouth open but no words coming out.

"Clear this rubbish!"
She said not caring if I was done eating.

Leaving my food untouched I stood with her watching then carefully cleared the table.

Turning to go Mom halted me "Nicole, you forgot your plate"

"I'm not done eating"I said, earning a soul piercing glare from her.

I was nursing my newly inflicted bruises when my window suddenly opened bringing in a bone  chilling breeze along with a piece of paper.
Peering closer I tried reading the sprawled words on it.

" tomorrow, I'll be watching you. "
