Do I, Or Not?

THE START

"Damn! Moving is hard and a lot of work. I can't believe my parents made me move all the way to L.A just to be closer to my cousins that I barley even know," I thought to myself, as I decided to take a walk, dancing from my front door to the middle of the street. As I started to really get into the music a car comes driving down the street like there's no tomorrow, nearly hitting me and almost made me crap my pants when all of a sudden I felt a hand touch my shoulder. "Hi, I'm Trey. You must be from the new family that just moved in." I was surprised and shocked at the same time. All I could think about was how cute this guy is and how familiar he looked especially when two of his friends came up behind me and scared me before I could even see their faces or ask their names. "What's your name," Trey asked me? I couldn't even answer because I was nervous and still a little in shock by both of the scares I received not even one minute ago. "Ka-h-h.. Kahlia," I said almost forgetting my own name. Trey and his friends began to laugh a little and Trey then introduced me to his friends, "Oh! That's so cool! My cousin's name is Khalia too. And this is Jacob and Ray Ray, but we just call him Ray. Jacob,.. Ray this is Kahlia." "Hi nice to meet you guys. I just moved here as you can probably tell," I said nervously smiling really hard. Ray was trying so hard not to laugh but it just burst out which made Jacob, Roc and I look at him funny because there was nothing said that was funny enough for him to laugh the way he was. After a couple of minutes we all just started laughing because Ray fell to the floor and started rolling, holding his stomach because he was laughing so much it hurt. We all then started to stop and I asked, "Why were we laughing so much? Nothing was even funny. Or was it something I missed cause I feel kinda confused." Ray and Jacob started laughing again so Trey told me, "Nah. Don't worry, they just being fools. They always get like this around pretty girls, such as yourself," Jacob and Ray all of a sudden stopped laughing and gave Trey the death glare and he began to laugh. I couldn't help but think to myself, "Oh wow!! I can't believe there is a possibility that they think I'm cute!! I hope so, especially Trey because I think he is cute and I really want to get to know him better. And now these boys look more familiar, even when it is more than one of them. I can't believe I'm meeting Mindless Behavior at my new house! Maybe this moving thing isn't so bad after all." "So... Kahlia we're going to Trey's house right now to chill. Want to come," Jacob asks me with a big smile in his face. "Umm.. Hold up let me ask my mom. You guys want to come in for a second?" "Yeah," they all said in unison, "Aiight! Come on." We all walked into my house and I said, "You guys can sit on the couch." As they sat down I called for my mom, "Mom!!!" My mom comes out my room down the stairs to the kitchen and say, "What Kahlia? Can't you see I'm kinda busy?! I thought you was going on a walk," with a little attitude because she is tired and annoyed. "Yeah I was until I meet some people," she looks in the living room and sees the boys sitting on the couches, "who are these boys," she says in a protective tone. "Mom these are the guys I just met. That's Trey, Jacob, and Ray. Guys this is my mom," I say with a sketchy voice because of what I think my mom might say. She just looks at them for a second and then says, "oh, hey. Nice to meet you guys," with a big smile on her face, then she looks back at me and says, "so what did you want I got to get back to work if you want your room to be dry by tonight." I was stuck and forgot what I was going to ask her until Trey noticed I had a lose of words and said, "we wanted to know if Kahlia could come to my house, down the street and chill for awhile. Well that is until she has to come home?" Without hesitation my mom said, "yes," kissed me on my forehead and told me to be safe, before running upstairs to finish painting my room. I look at the boys and they were all staring at me, smiling like there's no tomorrow. Trey realized I was getting nervously uncomfortable out so he cleared his throat and said, "umm... So are you guys ready to go?" Jacob and Ray realized that they were staring and Jacob replied, "oh! Yeah we ready," slightly laughing. The boys got up and we all walked out the house.

At first the walk was silent and awkward until Ray broke the silence and asked me, "so Kahlia where did you come from?" For a moment I was zoned out in my own little world not really thinking about what was just asked of my then all of a sudden it hit me, literally. I tripped on the sidewalk, scrapping my knee, my hand and chin. Not really being able to grasp the event that just happened I turned on my back and just stayed there looking at the sky. The guys just stood there shocked and concerned, looking at me and back to each other when Trey decided to ask me if I was okay. "Umm.. Kahlia are you okay? Do you need help up?" I couldn't even answer I felt as if I was flying or something then out of nowhere I just stood up, dusted myself off and started to laugh. All the guys looked at me confused. My laughing started to decrease and the boys were getting more confused and nervous at the same time. Trey had a funny look on his face and started to think to him self, "damn Kahlia is funny, creepy, and weird. I wonder if she has what I'm looking for? What can I do to get her attention? I feel like she's not even into me and she's giving more attention to Ray and Jacob! What the hell, am I really getting jealous over a girl I just met?! Snap out of it Trey she's just another girl, but she feels like the right girl. Damn, so many questions I have to sort out!! Should I just talk to the guys about her and ask them what they think of her?? Or should I just go straight to her and out on a date?"
