Part 1: Back Again

(*The first part is in Kahlia’s P.O.V)

After I realized where we were. At first it was just to dark to see anything, but now I know where we are most defiantly. Home!! At my nana's house. There was my cousin outside waiting looking so anxious. As soon as she seen me she started to jump up and down, then immediately ran inside. We pulled into the driveway and as we got out of the car out from the house came my cousin and the rest of my family. "Deme," I said so happy to see her, even though it's only been like a couple of days since I last seen her, it feels like its been forever, "I missed you so much!! How did you know I was coming?? I didn't even know!" "I know. Your brother called and said that you was coming down here with your "boyfriend" or whatever you wanted to call him," she said giggling with excitement. "Oh. Well he's not my boyfriend.. (gco)" "Yet," Daniel said sneaking up behind me, smiling and introducing himself, "hi I'm Daniel." Deme froze and didn't know what to say. She was stuck and started to panic. I was getting nervous for her so I said, "Daniel this is my cousin and my best friend Deme," I grabbed her hand and said, “well let's go inside. I have so much to tell you and I've been missing you like crazy!" "Yeah me too!! It feels like forever since I last seen you and we talked. What your phone broken or something," Deme asked me giving me a funny look. Laughing I said, "nah I just been kinda busy, we been moving and getting settled all this time. We only been down there for a couple of days! Stop trippin'," we started to laugh and we finally got inside the house. My nana, nano nano, aunt and other cousin greeted me and I introduced them to Daniel. My aunt P finally asked, "are y'all hungry? I know you guys been on the road for a while now." "Yes," I said almost instantly. We sat down and ate. When we were done Deme, Daniel and I went into Deme's room when my other cousin Sam came in, Sam is 16 and very protective of Deme and me, even though Deme and I are a year younger. (*Note: Daniel is the same age as Sam.) Sam has a caramel completion and one of the kindest most sweetest guys a girl can ever ask for, he's kind of a ladies man, the girls go crazy for him. All the girls want him and even if they say they don't, trust, they most defiantly do.

    As Sam walked in he looks at Daniel and says, "I know the girls want some alone time. So how about you come out here and talk to the family. We don't bite I promise, we just want to get to know you better," he said giving an innocent smile. Daniel looked at me for an answer so I told him, "Don't worry. Just stay calm and be yourself. Don't try to charm them just get to know them. Don't lie, tell nothing but the truth and don't I repeat don't tell them anything about anything that does not have to do with us. Just be logical," I said giving him a smile and a kiss on his cheek for reassurance. "Okay," Daniel said getting up with a worried look on his face.

Oh gosh!! I'm so nervous. I don't think I'm ready for this yet. I just barely got here and they want to talk to me that fast. We've only been here for about less than 2 hours!! I wonder what they are going to ask me.

The boys leave and Deme looks at me and I look at her and we go crazy!! We turn on some music and dance around to a couple of songs then we lay back and start to talk. I tell her everything from the first day I got there to the part where Daniel started to bring me here. We cried together and laughed and we were having such a good time. When we were done talking and having our "girl/cousin" time we decided to see what was going on with Daniel and our family. We walked out the room and into the living room to see Daniel laughing having a good time and talking with my family. They seemed to really like him, even Sam. I can't believe it Sam actually likes Daniel. "Hey how you guys doing," I said walking in to the living room, nervous as to what I might hear them talking about. "We are good just talking. This boy is a keeper Kahlia. Your lucky to call him your boyfriend," my aunt P said. I looked at her a little worried and kind of shocked and said, "auntie Daniel's not my boyfriend," she instantly became confused and said, "oh. I could have sworn that you guys were going out. You two act so much like your dating or something." "Well I asked Kahlia and she said we have to be friends before we are "lovers" so I just excepted it and decided to keep trying because to me Kahlia is a girl worth fighting for." "Awwww," everyone said in unison. Daniel and I started to laugh and I sat down next to him and I could feel him putting his arm around me so I put my hand on his leg and looked at him and he kissed me on my forehead. We continued to talk and as soon as we knew it, it was 12 o'clock and everyone was going to bed and Daniel and I pulled out the pull out couch and laid down cuddling. Daniel instantly fell asleep but as I was drifting off to sleep my phone started to ring and it was Trey I decided I don't want to talk to him until I get back do I just ignored all his calls and texts.

Part 2: New House New Problems

Why isn't Kahlia answering my calls or texts? Where is she?! I thought we was supposed to hang out. Who is she with? Wasn't I supposed to go to her house tonight? Where are Ray, Craig, and Jacob? Why do I feel so lost?!

I went to Kahlia's house in hopes to find her there. When I got there I rang the doorbell, no answer. I rang it so many times then finally after, what felt like, five minutes Kahlia's brother Harrison came to the door. "Hey Harris, is your sister home," I asked being very concerned. "Nah she went out of town. She won't be back for a day or two." "Oh. For reals?" "Yeah. Were you gonna stay over? Craig, Ray and Jacob are here. They're staying for the rest of the week." "Oh yeah." "Aiight then. Come in." As I walking in said hi to the guys and got even more curious as to where Kahlia was so I asked Harris, "where did your sister go?" "Daniel took her back to where we used to live. Kahlia was starting to get home sick and I thought it might be good for her to go back, and see our cousin too. They are really close, but ever since the move I've noticed that they haven't been talking a lot. So when Daniel came by we started to talk about my sister and he decided he wanted to take her back, just for a couple of days though." "Oh. Well have you talked to her?" "Nah. If she wants to talk to me she'll call, and if not her then Daniel." "Oh." "So yeah. Why? What's up with you and her?" "I don't know, that’s the thing." "Well earlier when you left right before my sister came down where did you go?" "I had to handle some business." "So that’s how it is? You trying to get at my sister and you gonna tell me you had to 'handle some business'." The room got tense and Craig, Ray, and Jacob stopped the game and looked at me and Harris. I got nervous and I could see Harris was getting pissed. Even though he was a year younger than me he was a kid that could fight, especially for his sister. "Harris it’s not even like that. I just can't say. At least not right now." "If it's really that bad I don't see how you and my sister are going to last," Harris said sitting down rolling his eyes. I decided I don't want to stay here tonight so I told the guys had to go home and I would come back tomorrow. When I left so many things were running through my mind, my heart started to beat really fast and tears were forming in my eyes. When I got to my house I ran through to door and up to my room crying harder than I have ever cried before. "What am I going to do," I asked myself lying on my bed crying my eyes out. "How will I ever have a chance with her when Daniel is always the rebound, helping her up when I push her down? When Harris said Kahlia left when she was done getting ready I think she went to the school and saw me and Adrianna! How could I have done this to her, to us!
