The Ferris Wheel [septiplier AU] ✔️completed

Prologue/Ch. 1

"C'mon Ethan! You know that I hate interfering with your date!" I whined.

"But Jack! I feel sorry for you! And as I best friend I have to - "

"Make sure my life is better than ever before yea yea I fucking get it!" I crossed my arms. "As much as I want to go to Disneyland with you, I won't!"

"But Tyler's com - "

"Exactly!" I exclaimed. "Wouldn't that make me a third wheeler? How are you guys okay with this???"

"Just come! We'll make sure you have fun okay?" Ethan says.

I roll my eyes. They always say they'll make sure I have fun. Why can't I have my own date? Not that I want to be in a relationship, but I hate third wheeling people. It's so ... awkward! Especially for me, I couldn't find a date for the longest time!

After pausing the Markiplier video I was watching and shutting down my computer, I followed Ethan Tyler into their car as they drove off to Disneyland.

We rode a few rides, got ice cream and Ethan and Tyler are stuffed.

"Hey um, Jack!" Tyler said. "Look, we're gonna go somewhere for a while and I just don't want you to get bored so ... hey maybe, would you like to go to the ferris wheel?"

I hate how Tyler always treats me like a child.

"Fine," I sighed.

I ran off the other direction while Ethan and Tyler walked together.

I was dodging all the people, weaving through the crowds. I was so in the zone that I didn't realize that a guy had his foot out somehow and I tripped on it.

"Fuck!" I heard him mutter under his breath. "I'm so sorry! Are - are you okay?"

"Oh yes - it's my fault honestly I'm - I'm ..... "

When the man helped me get up again, I was met with chocolate brown eyes, light pink hair, tanned skin, and obvious muscles bulging out from his grey shirt.

"You're ... "

"You know me?" He asks.

"You're Markiplier," I was barely able to make out.

"Oh!" He said. "A fan? Wow, I didn't think I'd see one in a place like this! My name is ... well you know."

"Yea I'm Jack," I replied, trying my best not to embarrass myself in front of the one guy I watch on YouTube nowadays. "Jack McLoughLin."

What the fuck! I can't believe my luck ... well it's pretty low if you asked me but ... I bumped into Mark at Disneyland, right when the sun was slowly setting.

"Which way are you heading?" He asked politely.

"Oh, wherever the Disneyland Ferris Wheel is," I replied, pointing to the direction I was running to before.

"Yea I never knew the name for that either," he chuckled. "I'll walk with you."

"Um - okay," I replied awkwardly.

What?! I've never heard those words before. At least I've never heard those words that were for me.

"So what brought you here Jack?" He asked curiously. "Are you alone?"

"Yes - but - well, not really," I replied. "My best friend begged me to tag along with his boyfriend and him here and it feels so awkward. I'm just a third wheeler."

"Oh wow, your friend is a dick," Mark and I laughed. "I feel so sorry for you."

"Oh please don't," I said. "I'm honestly used to it. They've been torturing me for the longest time."

"Really? Huh," He said. "I'd never thought you'd get used to such bullshit."

"Anyways!" I exclaimed, attempting at changing the subject. "More about you. What has been going on with your life?"

Mark's smile faded soon enough as I asked the question. Nice work, doofus I thought to myself.
