When we arrived at the mall, I wanted to go into Hot Topic and see if they had any Doctor Who merchandise since I’ve been a fan for a good while, when I walked in one of the guys that was working there turned to look at me and smiled. I’ve been here a few times, and I always thought he was cute, when all of a sudden I see a shadow behind me which is pretty hard since it tends to be dark at Hot Topic. Before I turned around I felt an arm on my shoulder so I turned towards the person holding onto my shoulder. I was surprised to find that it was Matt who wasn’t looking at me, but instead had an annoyed look on his face while looking at the Hot Topic dude, whose smile seemed to drop when he saw that Matt was staring with an angry expression at him, he cleared his throat, then asked us if we needed any help?

“No its okay, Kass and I will find what we need we’ll let you know if you need anything dude”

“What was that Matt? Why are you looking at the poor guy with such an angry face, all he was doing was his job. Geez very rarely does a guy smile at me, and there you go scaring him. What the hell was that dude?”

“Nothing, he just needs to do his job instead of flirting with the customers. Plus you were suppose to spend the day with me at the mall remember.”

“No you were invited but you said you would be buying a gift for someone so I figured I’d leave you to it, plus I wanted to come and buy something for myself.”

“Oh and what were you coming to this store for?”

“Doctor Who, who else would I come in here for?”

“ I love what some of the shirts say, its very true “You never forget  your first Doctor”, I know I haven’t I guess its kind of like your first kiss you never forget it, or the person that gave it to you.”

“Um, I guess for me its more like you don’t forget the memorable ones instead”

I was seriously blushing after he said that because he was looking at me with a look I couldn’t identify. We lasted about another 30 minutes arguing about which super hero was better Batman or Superman in the end I said Doctor Who was since he was supposed to be a Time Lord who could go back in time and space how much cooler could you get. I mean seriously if I had the chance I’d definetly go along as one of the Doctor’s companions.

“So what would you like for Christmas missy?”

 “I don’t know I basically have everything, I’ll probably just ask for some CD’s from Birdie, The Black Keys and a few others”

“So if you had to choose who would your favorite artist be Kass?”

“Florence and the Machine I love all of her songs, there has not been a song that I’ve encountered that I haven’t liked from her and the funny thing is I would never have known about her if I hadn’t bought the Twilight soundtrack.”

“What about you Matt, what would you like for Christmas?

“I think I’m barely realizing what it is that I truly want but am not sure if I should ask for it or wait a few years and then see if its ready, you know what I’m saying”

“Um not really but to each their own, if you say your not ready or its not ready then I guess time will tell right?”

“Yeah I guess, but that doesn’t mean I want someone else to take it either, I don’t share what is mine or what I know will be mine, Do You understand what I’m saying?”

“Yeah your saying your not ready for your toy but you don’t want anyone else touching it, so what is this mysterious object that has you clenching your jaw, like you’d break something at the mere thought of someone touching it?”
