The Vampires

Everyone sat down and waited for dinner in quiet. No one spoke a word from after what had happened. Lydia looked traumatized and didnt even blink, Jade's eyes were on the break of tears, Draconia's make up was runny from the crying about her past.

The entire family was waiting for one of the servants to bring out dinner. Everyonce in a while Dexter and Draven would whisper stuff to each other and then stare back at their empty planes.

"Damit! Mia, Frale! What is taking dinner so long?" Lucifer shouted. One of the servants came into the dinning room and whispered something into Lucifer then Salems ear.

"Very well." Salem announced. She stod up atthe table. "Mia has informed me that our oven is shut down. I will call the Griffins and ask if we may dine with them."

"Great. Just who i need to see right now." Lydia mumbled to herself.

"Lydia, a word?" Salem asked. Lydia stod up and followed her mother into the foyer.

"Mom why would you take us to Vinces house? After what happened with me and Draconia." Lydia said mono tone and compeltely angery.

"Lydia you can stay here if you must. I will tell the others that you are not feeling well and decided to stay home. Good?" Salem asked her duaghter.

"Why are you doing this? Why are you giving Draconia another chance to sleep with vince?" Lydia asked kniting her eyebrows together. Salem rubbed her temples.

"Lydia that isn't what I'm doing." Salem said.

"Yea right. I'm going to my room. Go ahead and leave with your slut for a daughter." Lydia said before running up stairs.

"GET DOWN HERE NOW! DON'T YOU DARE TALK ABOUT YOUR SISTER LIKE THAT!" Salem shouted after Lydia. She didnt want to talk to her mother about her feelings or herself or Draconia. She wanted to be left alone.

"Mom," It was Jade. "Can we talk before we head out?" Jade asked. Salem nodded and Jade approached her slowly.

"I'm worried about Lydia." She mumbled. Salem nodded.

"Jade, we can't be in Lydia's life if she doesn't want us in it. We can't intrude to much or she will just get mad. We are all worried about Lydia. She isn't normal in anyway. Jade the best thing we can do is meet her half way." Salem said just before kissing Jade's forehead.

"Mom we can't just avoid Lydia." Jade argued.

"We dont have to," Salem paused and Jade looked confused. "She will avoid us. Now go get read for dinner. I don't want to be late."

"Fine." Jade said going upto her room and getting ready.

After everyone was ready they got into their carrage and drove over to the Griffin's castel. When they arrived the family was waiting outside under their parasols. Manson, Onyx, Vince, Ash, and Hecate Griffin.

The Griffins were vampires just like the Blood's but they didn't dare go out into the human public. They felt an "unsafe feeling" whenever thet were out and about. The only reason the Griffins knew the Blood family was becuase of the vampire tournaments.

Salem and Onyx where on a team and they had become best friends while fighting next to one another. They where both 19,000 at the time. After that they just kind of merged.

The vampire tournaments was a long trial of obstacles and test to test your strength, power, and skill. Once a born vampire turns 19,000 they must join the vampire tournaments before the next year. If they dont attened the tournaments then they will be executed on their next birthday.

"Salem how nice of you to join us for dinner, where is your youngest?" Onyx asked Salem giving her a warm and inviting hug. Salem just smiled for a second.

"She isn't feeling to well so she wanted to stay home." Salem lied. Onyx could tell she was lying, but wouldn't bring it up infront of everyone.

Everyone said their greetings and then ran off before dinner. Dinner was going to take atleast an hour to cook since they were having so many guest over tonight.

Jade was with Hecate talking in their library, Thorn was with Ash, Dexter and Draven ran around in the front yard, Manson and Lucifer where catching up in the main room, Salem and Onyx talked out in the garden, and Vince was trying to talk to Draconia.

"Draconia please." Vince called out to her as she walked away from him.

"No Vince. You listen to me, you costed me my sister's and family's trust. Do you realize what a sick and twisted person you are?" Draconia whisper yelled. Vince gaped. Draconia clearly didn't remember what happened.

"Draconia, you asked me to do that with you. You know that. If you ask me, you're the sick one. So, next time you wanna talk shit, don't make the decision to create shit." Vince before walking off angry.

"I know what you're dealing with Jade, Ash had this weird fase where je didn't want to talk to anyone or be around anyone for about two thousand years. We were all in fear of his gift. You know, since he is a mischief." Hecate said to Jade as they were both talking about their younger siblings.

"Yea... We were all in fear of Lydia fpr a while. However, we never told Lydia she was a mischief. Until last night that is. I told her she was the only one with her type of power and then she stormed out. However, she doesnt know ur a mischief, she just thinks she is different." Jade said.

Hello my readers. Sorry it took so long to update. Also sorry that one day has been divided into 3 about to be 4 chapters. I will try not to do that offten. Also I will make a seperate chapter explaining everything about the vampires and their ways of life and stuff about the Griffins. Anywho I will be updating Fantasies soon if you read that. Also next chapter might be short i dont know yet tho so just keep a look out. Anyways....
