Yugi believed him throwing up was a one time thing but when it happened for the next two weeks, and strangely, in the afternoon he felt fine. He knew something was wrong with him so he decided to go to the doctors and see what's up.
At the moment he was driving to his doctors and he was anxious for an answer. He parked his car and went inside, checked in, and waited for the doctor. As to replie to his worried self, a doctor came out.
"Yugi Muto?" He called out. Yugi stood up and walked over to the door, following behind him. They walked into a room and Yugi sat down.
"So Mr. Muto, can you tell me what's up?" His doctor, Mr. Bristol asked. Yugi took in a small breath and spoke. "Well for the last two weeks or so I've been throwing up in the mornings and then in the afternoon I was fine but pretty hungry. I have no idea what's happening." Yugi explained.
Mr. Bristol looked down at his clip board and jotted something down. "I might have an idea of what's going on but I'll need to run so blood tests. Okay?" He told Yugi. He nodded and Mr. Bristol left with his blood sample.
After awhile Mr. Bristol came back in the room with Yugi. Mr. Bristol had a shocked look on his face. "Well uh, Mr. Muto? We found out what's wrong with you. You are actually not sick at all. Your pregnant."
Yugi sat there with a shocked look on his face. "How is that even possible?" Yugi asked. He looked at Yugi. "Well, we found on your birth records that you where actually supposed to be a girl, so it gave you some of the parts a girl would have, including the one to hold a child." He explained.
Yugi tapped his fingers against his legs. "Umm.. uh how far am I?" Yugi asked shyly. Mr. Bristol looked at him and smiled slightly. "Three to four weeks. Best get yourself prepared, your gonna have a miracle soon." He said. Yugi muttered his thanks and walked out to the check out desk.
Yugi looked at the paper he got. His doctor wanted to see him in the next month and a half. He sighed as walked over to his car. How the hell is this possible? How can this work? Yugi thought as he drove home.
~~~At Yugi's~~~
Yugi was currently in the shower. He looked down at his stomach and found the smallest curve there. Almost not even noticeable. He sighed heavily. "I don't know how I'm going to take care of you little one." He said while touching his stomach gently. "But I'll figure it out."
He shut off the shower and grabbed a towel. He dried themself on and put his pajama on. It took him awhile to dry his hair but he finally finished, thirty minutes later.
Yugi walked to his bed curled on his side while wrapping himself up in blankets. He closed his eyes and tried to fall asleep. Life for him was going to get very confusing.
~~~At Ishizu's~~~
Ishizu sat on her couch reading a book. He husband, Mahado, was currently upstairs doing Ra knows what. But instead of being relaxed she couldn't. She felt something would happen. She felt something was off.
Even through she didn't have the millennium necklace anymore, she still got visions every here and again. Most she didn't truly remember or they where from her own last. She decided to ignore it and she went up to her room and went to sleep.
A child of the great Pharaoh will be born.....
The bearer of this child wants and seeks help.....
He who carries this child was once the vessel to the great Pharaoh.....
Assist him.....
Soon.....
Ishizu woke with a start. The dream was strange to her. Wait, it was no dream. She received a prophecy. If she remember right it said a child of the great Pharaoh would be born by the old vessel... Yugi! He must be the one that is bearing the child. Yet again, how? Isn't it impossible for a man to have a child? She thought to herself.
Ishizu instantly jumped out of her bed and changed her cloths and got herself ready. She ran down the stairs and nearly forgot about her husband. "Mahado! I'm going out! Call me if you need anything!" Ishizu yelled to him. She heard his calls of protests but she ignored them as she ran out the door, determined.
Ishizu eventually arrived at Yugi's house and she knocked at the door. Yugi opened it and looked at Ishizu in surprise. "Ishizu! What are you doing here?" Yugi asked. Ishizu looked down at his stomach. There was the slightest bump there seen through his leather shirt.
Ishizu decided just to ask him. "Yugi are you pregnant?" She said bluntly. Yugi started at her with wide eyes and blush. "I! Er umm..... kinda.... well... Y-yes." He stuttered, looking down at his feet. "Come in and uh.. H-how do you know that?" He asked.
Ishizu walked inside Yugi's house. "I had a strange prophecy about it. Echoed voice in my dreams." She explained shaking her head. Yugi looked at her. "Oh. It's just, uh... Ugh! I don't know how I'm supposed to take care of this baby! I mean Yami isn't here and-" Yugi stopped himself from continuing his rant.
Ishizu looked at him in slight surprise. She knew the Pharaoh was the father it's just, no one really refereed to him as Yami anymore. Yet again she could tell that whenever Yugi did call him that, it seemed he smiled a little brighter when he was still in the mortal realm.
Yugi started to sob in his hands. "Ishizu? I-i just don't know if I can take care of this baby. I mean-" Yugi started but Ishizu cut him off. She grabbed his hands and looked at him. "Yugi you can take care of the baby. I could possible leaned you my husbands sister old baby stuff." She motivated him. Yugi looked at her with teary eyes. "R-really?" He asked. Ishizu looked at him. "Really."
He saddened face turned into a smile and he hugged her. "Thank you Ishizu, I honestly don't know what I'd do without you." He said happily to her. At first Ishizu was taken a back but she hugged back. "Your welcome."
Ishizu began to think to herself. 'Mood swings already? At least there slight.' She thought graciously. "Hey Yugi I have an idea. What if we go baby shopping now, then we can make it seem like I'm pregnant then you won't feel so awkward." Ishizu explained. Yugi looked up at her with a smile. "That's a perfect idea!" He exclaimed.
~~~The Afterlife~~~
"H-hey Atem? Are you okay?" Mana asked. Yami looked up from his spot. He was fine with being called Atem but it bugged him slightly. He quickly whipped his eyes. "Yes Mana, i-im fine." He said. Mana didn't buy this.
"No your not! You've been in the same spot for a entire day. You also never stutter and I know your not happy here. And your annoyed by your real name! You prefer to be called 'Yami'." She ranted. Yami looked at her surprised. "How do you know that?" He asked.
Mana sighed. "Back when you lived in Egypt you where like an open book. Easy to read from. Also, call it 'Friend instincts'. You pick up a thing or two in the after life." She explained. Yami sighed. "I know I should be happy here It's just... I feel like I'm missing something important down there ya know? Not Yugi but something else... not that I don't care about him it's just..." he started to trail off into his own thoughts.
Mana looked at him sympathetically. She knew that Yami loved Yugi and wanted to be with him. "Wellitmaybethatyouroldvesselispregnantwithyouc-" Mana said quickly before Yami interrupted her. "Wait. What?" He asked with wide eyes. Mana eyes did the same. "Umm! Nothing! I got to go, umm... Bye!" She said as she darted away.
Yami looked at her oddly. He could've sworn that she said that his old vessel was pregnant. Wait. Old vessel equals Yugi. Mana said he was pregnant. That one night before the duel... He put a hand to his mouth. Yugi was pregnant with his child.
