I walked into my room, looking at the gray and blue room. No heat came into here, the place cold and dark. I took a seat beside the window, sinking into the soft chair while opening the window. The smell of rain rushed in, my mother commenting on the "Offending smell" as she walked in. I drowned her out as I stared out the window. "Bed, now Tal." "Yes mother.." Although I was sixteen, my mother always saw me to bed, probably seeing it as a precaution so I didn't escape the house. She said a unimpressed good night and left the room, closing the door. I chuckled quietly as I got out of bed and sat back by the window, waiting for the morning to come.

The witch pushed me out the door. "Go to school. Spare me of seeing you for a few hours, I'll love you then." My body straighten as I walked to my bus stop, rain pouring down again today. My feet planted on the ground as I waited for the loud bus to arrive, the people around me as loud as they were on the vehicle. It seemed as though they got louder on the bus, I thought as I got on the bus, sitting down. A blond boy slid into the spot next to me, looking up his friends. I tried to slide away from him, his cheery attitude immediately making me want to shove him away. The boy turned to talk to me but I pointed to my headphones and was happy, until he pulled them off. "What the hell?!" "Hi!" From this small encounter, I already wanted to punch him. I pulled the headphones back, holding them there. He then again tried to pull them off, before I slapped his hand away. I heard a mumble of the word rude but I didn't care. I just wanted to be left alone. After a few minutes, he decided to tap my shoulder. "What?!" "You're Tal, right?" "Yes, now leave me alone." I moved away from him but he came closer. "I'm Cyrus!" "Go away..."
