I stepped onto the bus, holding up a line of people while talking to my friends. One of them pushed me into a seat next to a small boy who was curled up next to the window, his head phones on. "Hey!" I got no reply, he simply continued to look out the window. I grabbed his headphones and pulled them off. "What the hell?!" "Hi!" He glared at me before putting his headphones back in. I thought about stopping before trying again to tug them off of him only for him to slap my hand. I yelped and glanced at him, mumbling "rude" as I paused. After a couple of minutes, I turned back to him and tapped his shoulder. He looked at me with a look I can only describe as disgusted with a dash of confusion, "What?!" "You're Tal, right?" "Yes, now leave me alone." I paused before moving closer. He visibly recoiled. "I'm Cyrus!" "Go away..."

I followed him off the bus, trying to talk to him. I just wanted to be friends with him. He always looks so lonely. "Tal! Talk to me! Cmon, don't leave me hanging, dude!" "I would love to do that actually." I pouted and walked beside him, trying to keep up with him. "Why?" He turned and looked at me. "You're annoying me," He turned and kept walking, "Plus I just really don't feel like talking in general." "Why?" "Because I don't want to that's why!" He stormed off, visibly angry now while I stood there in confusion. I shoved my hands in my pockets, "What did I do?.."

As Tal sat down in class, he looked around the classroom from his seat in the back. He skimmed over the top of the heads of his classmates before settling his sights on the door way and the man walking through it. "....no. no, no, no, no, no. NO." He shoved his bag into the seat next to him, trying to block him from sitting beside him, desperate for him to not sit beside him. He tried anyway. "Could I sit here?" ......fuck. "Uh........yes, no, yes...fuck." "Cool, thanks." God damn it.
