Astrid stopped outside the block of flats where she lived and said, "I live here." Tiates stopped walking when he heard her say, that is where she lived and then she turned to him and said, "thank you for walking me home."

"You're welcome," Tiates said.

"Since you saved me, shouldn't I at least know who my rescuer is?" she asked him.

"My name is Tiates, may I ask you what your name is?" He asked her.

"My name is Astrid. Thank you again for saving my life. We should meet up sometime," she replied.

"Yeah, as long as you don't end up killing yourself, between now and then because I might not be there to save you again," he said.

"Don't worry. I will see you later," she said.

"Don't be walking on to roads without looking first," he replied.

"I won't, bye," she said as she turned to head into the block of flats.

"Bye," Tiates called after her. Then he turned as well and started walking down the street.

Astrid walked up the stairs to the floor where her flat was. She went inside her flat and shuts the door. She then went into the kitchen to make her lunch. She went to the fridge to get out some food and then started cooking the fish and chips. Once ready she started to plate it up and dropped the food on the floor. She wanted to cry. But didn't. What was she going to eat now? She had nothing else in. She went to the draw and got the takeaway menu out it was Chinese.

"Oh, what should I order?" She mumbled. She rang the takeaway up to order some food.

She ordered sweet and sour chicken balls with rice. She waited for the takeaway to come, while she thought about how the guy could have saved her that fast when the car was already really close to her.

"What is he? Is he what I think he is? Is he a vampire? But he can't be because vampires aren't real. I am probably just imagining stuff. He must have seen the car before me and was close enough to get there in time," she mumbled.

Some time passed and she heard someone knock on the door so she went to open it and then she paid for the food. Then she went to sit down to eat the food.

After she finished eating she got a phone call and she answered it and found out it was her dad because of the voice. She pulled the phone from her ear and whispered to herself, "huh," in a confused voice as her eyebrows lower. She puts the phone back to her ear. "Hi, how come you're calling?" She asked him.

"Your mum is pregnant, " he said.

"She is not my mum," Astrid replied.

"She is your mum. Stop being ungrateful, she took you in as her own daughter, " he replied.

"Since when? All she ever was, was mean to me. Anyway, when is it due to being born?" She replied.

"You don't need to bother coming home, " he said.

"You don't want me to come home, do you? You don't want me to meet my brother or sister?" She wondered.

"Well not really," he said.

"So why did you bother to ring me?" she says.

"Ava made me call you because she wanted you to know," he replied.

"Really? Well, I guess she is not all that bad," she said.

"I have to go," he said as he hangs up the phone.

Astrid started to think about her little brother or sister that she was never going to meet.
