3rd Person POV
After the two idiots ran away like bitches, their friend approached.
"I apologize for Devin and Curtis' behavior. I tried to warn them that you two seem territorial," he stated sincerely.
"Thank you..." Megan pondered waiting for the unknown wolf's name.
"My name is Marcus," he said looking at everyone but stared at a bubbly redhead a little longer who in return blushed.
A newly turn wolf smirked at the interaction and decided to do something to speed up the process.
Demi walked over to her own mate and whispered, "I'm going to do something drastic. Don't get jealous."
Megan looked at her tattooed mate perplexed.
Demi rolled her eyes and gestured towards the blushing pair.
Megan nodded and mind linked everyone else about the plan besides their hyperactive pack mate.
She received comments about how this was going to be hilarious since they never seen Ariana territorial before.
Megan gave the signal for Demi to start.
Demi pretended to trip near Marcus, but before she could fall he caught her.
It took everything in the Alpha not to rip his arms off despite knowing about the plan.
What?? Demi is hers.
"Your SO strong," Demi fake swooned.
"Thanks?" he laughed awkwardly.
Out of the corner of her eye Demi seen that Ariana's face was almost as bright has her hair.
She knew that it wouldn't take much to piss her off since Valentine coveted Marcus right now.
"So do you have a girlfriend?" Demi asked in a fake sexual voice.
"Yes he does! ME! Now stay the hell away, Demi!" Ariana threatened ripping Marcus away from the shocked girl.
The group of friends started bursting out in laughter for like the 3rd time that day.
"I knew it! He's your mate! Dammit I should have betted some money on that!" Demi pouted.
Megan pulled her in for a hug and kissed the adorable pout away.
Demi pout turned into a face breaking grin.
"What did you mean you knew it?" Ariana asked still holding Marcus' arm in a death grip.
"I seen the way you were looking at each other, but wouldn't say a damn thing. So I sped up the process. Sorry for the whole 'do you got a girlfriend' thing," Demi explained and apologized.
"I think it was worth it. Ari's reaction was priceless!" Liz spoke up still chuckling at the cheerful girl's change in demeanor.
"Better her than me," Megan mumbled knowing the super hearing Weres heard her.
"Aww little Death was ready to take a life," Chris mocked but coward away at the glare his Alpha friend sent him.
"I've been meaning to ask what the hell are Death and Kill?" Demi asked voicing her thoughts since the whole fighting dilemma at the food court.
"Death is the nickname Chris titled Gale and I when we're livid,"Megan told her.
"While Kill is the nickname Chris titled Jade and I when we're furious," Liz said with her arm draped across Tori.
