Music: You don't always get what you want - The Rolling Stones (not a big fan of them and it doesn't have an actual link with the chapter but it is quite of a nice song)

Curse words (as usual), all words and no smut make Tommy and our Belfast girl restless.

5.50 p.m. Louise was overexcited now. Tommy left his office.

They went out in the cold streets of Birmingham, Tommy's coat gently displayed on Louise's shoulders. They arrived at Garrison's soon after where Finn, Arthur and his wife were waiting, a glass of brown and still booze in their hands. Tommy greeted his brothers by taking them in his arms and kissed Linda's cheeks nicely. Louise did likewise. She had gained a certain confidence, since she started to work for the Shelbys, confidence that pleased enormously to Tommy. She was still shy but she knew that with time, it would eventually vanish.

"Let us see that body!", inquired Qrthur cheekily.

And so Louise turned herself, laughing and playing innocently with the silk. They were smiling at how peaceful and innocent she looked.

Lizzie enterred the bar, a cigarette creating a tiny gap between her and her two purple lips.

"You're way more pretty than I am with that dress", she said "God, that makes me mad!", she said by smiling at Louise and taking her in her arms.

When all the family joined the the bar and had alcohol in their glasses, Tommy asked them to join their meeting room. They talked for about two hours in a room, dark and invaded by smoke and alcohol's smells.

"We must wait until they come to us, or they'll know our plan"

"Come on, Tommy, you know it never works"

With her job as a secretary, Louise only understood that something was on and that the documents she tided in the afternoon were linked to it, but the fact that she could not figure it out had her quite upset.

At almost 9, Polly and Linda asked a break to breathe out of the smoke and the projects. Everyone agreed to end the meeting here and left step by step but Polly asked Louise and Tommy to stay.

Polly was standing next to Louise, a hand on the Irish woman's arm; Tommy was sitting on a chair, at the end of the meeting table.

"I've found a flat for you, dear", almost muttered Pol.

Louise looked at Tommy to thank him. He nodded gently.

"Thank you, Polly, thank you"

Polly left and told Louise how glad she was to help her. Louise collected the papers she had been told to bring and was about to leave herself, with this firm hope to be held back by Tommy.
