The Mysterious Trio

Chapter 1: The first day

Bree's POV

This morning it was announced that we were leaving the Mission Creek and moving to Miami. I am very excited, though I can't say the same about Chase. He's worried about people finding out about us. About our bionics. I am less worried. I mean all of these years living here, we have never made a friend. I'm so excited to finally meet people! At least I hope. My idiotic brothers better not ruin this for me.

We finally settled. Today is the first day of school. We are going to a school named Iridium High. I wake up early and try to make the least amount of noise I possibly could to not wake up my brothers. I run to the bathroom and take a quick shower. After, I silently go back to the lab and program my capsule to change my clothes into nice shirt and jeans with brown ankle boots that will hopefully make people think I'm normal. I go back in and my clothes change. I walk out and make sure Adam and Chase are still asleep. They are, so I super speed back to the bathroom and do my hair as normal. When I finish, I check the time. 7:24 a.m. That means I have about 6 minutes if I don't want to enter with my brothers. As I say that, I hear someone coming. I super speed to school to avoid whoever was coming. Weather it was Adam, Chase or even Leo, I don't want any interaction to ruin my first day.

As I enter the school, the vibe is much more different than Mission Creek. It actually feels a little more happier. I guess not having Perry as a principal actually makes a difference. My eye is caught by the two girls laughing and walking down the hall. I think, I hope to find a friendship like that. I ask myself, why don't I just go up and talk to them? Then realize, I don't know what to say. As I am lost in my thoughts, I don't realize they walk up to me. I enter

"Hey!" One of the girls says.

I automatically freak out. "Hi! Hey! Uhhh. I'm sorry, I have no idea what I am saying." God I'm so stupid! I thought my brothers would embarrass me, instead, I actually ended up embarrassing myself.

She laughs a little. "No worries! I'm Emma, and this is my best friend Andi!"

"-I -uh -I'm Bree!" I stuttered.

"Bree. What a nice name! You're the new girl, aren't you? Wait, but don't you also have two brothers?" Andi asked.

"Thanks. Yeah I'm new.. and uhh I prefer not to talk about them."

They both laugh. "Would you like for us to show you around the school?" Emma asked.

"Um, yeah! I would love that!" I answered a little to excited. They seem nice. I hope they don't think I'm too weird.

We make our way around the school, and Emma explains everything there is to know about the school. She goes walks towards the office door and opens it.

"Come on in!" She says.

I take a step into the office and I see her picture on the desk. Hm what's that doing here?  A man walks into the room.

"Hey dad! -Uh I mean Principal Alonso." Emma says. Oh that's why.

"Hi Emma. Andi. Who's this?" He asked.

"Oh, this is Bree! She's new. We came so we could get her locker and schedule."

"Yes, of course!" He searches the computer for my name. "Bree Davenport? Is that correct?" I nod. He prints out a paper and hands it to me. "Here you go. I trust Emma will help you in anyway you need."

"Thanks Dad!" Emma says, as we walk out.

She closes the door and asks to see the paper her dad gave me. I hand it to her and she takes look at it.
