Chapter 3: Blush

We played and Tony won the last game.

We were already in L.A We stopped by a Pizza Place. After Parking and getting out of the bus. We got in and found a table. I sat in the left seat, Tony sat next to me. Jaime sat in front of me, Vic was next to Jaime and Mike was next to Vic. I was only with Tony.

-"How much time we got?" asked Mike

-"Well, we have like an hour to eat and another hour to get there, after eating, Vic and Jaime should rest their voices" I said.

After all, I'm their manager, I have to look up for them.

-"Yes sir... I mean ma'am. said Vic

Mike laughed.

-"Douchebag" he said

I laughed.

-"I hope I don't have any problem when I get to cover high notes for Vic" said Jaime.

-"Don't worry, It'll  be alright, just try to practice that on our way there.".

-"So where you're going to be while we are on stage?" Asked Tony.

-"I'll be taking photos of the show"

-"You better take photos of me" said Jaime with an awkward wink. and then he laughed.

I blushed accidentaly and let it go eith a little laugh.

I noticed Vic was staring at me. Did he noticed? Hope not. I don't want him to think something wrong.

The waitress came by so we could order.

-"Good afternoon, I'm Jennifer, What would you guys like to order?"

-"I think a sportman pizza will be alright" said Vic

-"I want it extra cheese" said Mike

-"Yeah". I said.

-"Yeah why not" said Tony.

-"Half cheese and half peperoni". Said Jaime

-"Okay got it, a sportman extra cheese, half cheese and half peperoni, what are you gonna drink?"

-"Mmm, water." said Vic

-"I want water too" said Jaime

-"I want sprite, I assume you want diet coke Jess" said Mike

-"You kidding me? Regular coke please" I said

-"I want a Doctor Pepper" said Tony.

-"Got it, I'll be back soon". said the waitress.

We were back in the bus after eating. I was stuffed.

I talked to Tony for a few minutes, then he went to rest a little in his room with Mike.

Jaime was practicing in his bass in his bunk. so I was with Vic in the couch. He was next to me.

"We haven't really talked, so I guess this is my chance" said Vic

I smiled. "I guess"

He smiled back, and stared at me for a few seconds. I stared back. I was feeling awkward. Shy.

-"Are you in someway attracted to Jaime?" He suddenly asked.

-"What!? No, why would you ask that?"

he smiled "Calm down, I was just asking because I saw you blushing at one of his comments"

-"No, I- No, why?" I asked.

-"I don't know, I mean, he's a pretty awesome guy"

-"Well yeah, but I'm just here working."

-"So? I think you're a beautiful girl" he kept staring at me.

I blushed with my head down so he wouldn't notice, I stared at my shoes trying to avoid visual contact with him.

-"We're almost here, you should go warm your voice." I dodged the conversation

-"Yeah, I'm going, talk about this later"

We were in the backstage room, they guys were pretty excited and really jumpy.

The show is going to start in a few minutes. Out there was full.

I had the camera out and my VIP pass. The crowd was chanting ''PIERCE THE VEIL. PIERCE THE VEIL. PIERCE THE VEIL!"

Tony was nervous holding his guitar. Vic was breathing in and breathing out. Jaime was doing jumpy moves holding his bass.  and Mike was already sweating, he had his shirt off already.

-"You're in guys." I said

-"Okay here we go". Said Vic

Jaime looked at me. I smiled.

-Go make it awesome" I said to him.

he smiled "You're awesome"

and they went off to stage
