The Babysitter ( luke hemmings)

Chapter 4

*Katie's P.O.V*

I wake up to the light shining through my window into my eyes.

I check my phone to see that I have slept till 10:30 which is usually when I get up.

I climb out of bed and put a bra on just leaving the clothes I had on in bed.

As I open the door to to go into the bathroom I run into luke who looks like he has just woken up too.

"Good morning Katie" his voice sounding muffled

"Good.. Morning" I slur because I'm so tired. I step past him into the bathroom and brush my teeth and wash my face. After I'm done in the bathroom I walk downstairs to find my mom standing at the stove cooking what looks like bacon, eggs, toast, and grits.

" thanks mom" I tell her but she just nods because she's to busy cooking. I'm trying to debate on if I should tell her that Luke slept over or just wait for him to come down but it just slipped out. " oh and luke slept over because it got late, he's upstairs still getting ready to come down" her head turns to me and just nods.. Ok?

I honestly have to say i like luke. He's actually a cool person. Just since he's so smart people don't give him a chance. I feel really bad for him because his reputation doesn't match his real personality.

" Good morning ladies" my mom and I both turn to see luke as he's walking down the stairs and decides to take the seat next to me. I can see the smirk on my moms face but I decide to ignore it. She probably thinks I'm going to start having feelings for him but I don't like him like that and it don't think I ever will.

When we finish eating we all sit kn the couch and try to decide what to watch. We ended up watching jerry springer which is probably one of my favorites honestly.

" so luke, when are you going home, I'm not kicking you out I'm just wondering" my mom speaks up as the commercials come on.

" I'll leave in an hour, I have some things to do" i don't know why but for some reason I'm upset, it might sound weird but I don't want him to leave. I take my phone out of my pocket to check for any missed alerts and I have a text from Calum.

" Hey wyd today?"

I don't feel like replying right now so I decide to lock my phone and turn my focus on jerry springer. About an hour later luke decided to leave and I kind of miss him. Maybe I don't, honestly I don't even know.

I decided to text Calum back just telling him I'm going to hang around the house all day.

The day goes by pretty fast and I decide that it's time to take a shower. When I Get out I also brushed my teeth and I guess I brushed my gum because my mouth is bleeding but I do it all the time so i don't care.

When I got into my room I quickly found a pair of pajama shorts and a T- shirt. I check my phone for anything and it says I have a text from..luke?

"Goodnight see you tomorrow Katie!"

I smiled at my phone replying good night to him to. I turn my phone on silent and turn my lights off just laying in bed thinking about tomorrow with luke as I doze off.
