Chapter 2

*Katies P.O.V*

Its already almost time for me to be in class and I still haven't left home. I have to go strait from school to home because I'm going to be meeting my babysitter. I was not ready for this. What if it's some old rapist guy? Or some bitch I don't like at school.. I don't even know if it's a guy or a girl.

I didn't want to be late so I didn't even get to eat breakfast. I'm so mad at my mom right now so I didn't bother telling her bye, I just walked out.

Today was actually not that bad. Now I just need to go home and deal with who ever this "babysitter" person is.

It's 3:45 and the baby sitter is supposed to show up at 4:00 so we

can "get to know each other". This should be fun. I js it don't understand why this is necessary I can handle things on my own

I heard 3 little light knocks on the door, I looked at the clock and realized it was already 4:00. Wow time really does fly by. I call my 2 sisters down. My mom wasn't even home. This person could just kill us if they wanted to.

I swung the door open only to reveal Luke Hemmings. What the actual fuck. This Is embarrassing.

I was so mad at everything right now I just couldn't look him in the eyes. The schools biggest looser is in my house.

" excuse me for a second, I'll be right back"

I walk into the bathroom and lock the door. I dial my moms number and she picked up.

" MOM WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU, YOU KNOW I DONT LIKE LUKE, NO ONE DOES"

I hope he can't hear me right now

Oopss

" Listen Katie stop being a bitch and worrying about what other people think, just give him a shot, look I got to go by love ya"

"Wai-" before I could finish she hung up. I honestly would rather sit in my bathroom for hours than go out there and have to carry out an actual conversation with luke.

As I walk out the bathroom I look to see all of them sitting at the table staring at me.

I sat In a chair cross from luke getting situated for this " bonding time" crap

"Soo.. are we going to get started I have to get my homework done!"

Luke finally speaks up.

" well for the little ones, my name is Luke Hemmings, Katie already knows who I am.

"Y'all's mom called and asked me to babysit whenever she needed me bc she doesn't trust Katie"

He looked over at me and kind of have me a smirk

"Ya go on" I demanded

"I'm going to be spending nights over here to, I promise it won't be to bad"

I had literally no facial expressions

" Katie, what's wrong it's not that big of a deal" shayla says

" Ya it'll be fine" kaylee added on

I really need a nice 1 hour nap right now.

"Whatever I need a nap, are we done now"

Luke looked at all of us and nodded heading out the door he stopped

"Hey Katie need a ride to school tomorrow it's supposed to rain"

I had to think but hey why not? I just won't let anyone see that I'm with him

"Sure why not, bye"

"Bye"

I need so some rest now.
