WHAT DOES IT MEAN FOR NEW NETFLIX SHOW THAT FEMALE CO-STARS ARE DATING?
THE INTERNET BROKE THIS FRIDAY!!
We were all blessed to see the Anne With An E and Whoopass! casts get together Friday night for a night-out. Throughout the night instagram was flooded with inspirational posts from Olina Keoni and Dalila Bela, as well as adorable Lulina interactions!!
However, the real shocker comes later that night with a mirror selfie post (photo here) from Isabella Blake and Nova Jacobs... captioned "My better half" (right after Lucas Jade Zumann's "My funnier half" for Keoni).
Now, usually, we could overlook that and say it's a girls supporting girls scenario. However, given Amybeth McNulty's and Keoni's response, that does not seem to be the case.
Blake has a history and has stated in interviews that she prefers not to put a label on her sexuality. So this seems to line up with those statements. Jacobs, however, has not said any such thing—but has been without a boyfriend for about a year.
We wish the best for the (potential) new couple. However, we can't help but wonder what Netflix's course of action will be given the controversial situation...Only time will tell, we suppose.
