Highschool Crush

One

It was 6:50 in the morning I was tired, I couldn't sleep at all. I decided to call my Bestie he got my back no matter what I go through.
"Hello?" He answered with a tired voice.
"Hey, Spence are u going to school today?" I said tired but happy.
" Jayla I'm really sad that you had to move away," he said slightly annoyed
I could hear him punch something in the background.
"If anything goes wrong just promise me you will call my cell phone." he protests
"Spence?" I said about to cry but didn't.
"Yes, Jayla?" He said
" How am I going to make friends at this new school?" I said slightly concerned
" Jayla I don't know that answer you do." He said
"Spence I gotta go get dress now it's 7:25," I said
"Bye Jayla" he replied
"Bye" I said As I was hanging up

I ran to my closet trying to get my new clothes I
got from Fashion Nova over the week.
But I was, unfortunately, running out of time so I decided to go Classy but Basic.

When I got downstairs My Dad already cooked me breakfast.

I hurried up and ate my food to go on with my day.

"J-Jayla Dear", I knew who scratchy voice that was.

I sighed "Yea mom"
I went in the living room where she was laying.
That's when I knew she was drunk once again.

I just let her be. I ran to my bus stop it comes at 8:10 and it was 8:08. I saw people at the bus stop laughing and chattering. Knowing I don't talk to anyone is weird.

I decided I will talk to someone.

"Hey," I went up and greeted a girl.
She just walked away.

Do I stink?
Does she already think I'm annoying?
What did I do now?
Do I look weird?
What am I going to do?

As I fluttered my head with questions about her I fell asleep on the bus. The bus driver had to pick up multiple students.
As everyone got on the bus I noticed no one sat by me as if I have the plague or something.

We have arrived at school thank goodness! This is about to be some very long 8 hours.
