Chapter song: Fleetwood Mac // Rhiannon
You all race down through the streets as fast as you guys can. "We are so fucked! We are so fucking dead!" Richie yells as you all come to a path in the trees, the roar of the mustang close behind you guys. Your heart pounds in your chest, completely speechless. Bill leads the way through the trees as you all hear the mustang door slam shut and the engine turning off. "T-This w-w-way!" Bill yells, as you all cut through the path, heading down a grassy hill in the trees. The bumpiness of the hill making your handle bars vibrate violently. At the bottom you all ditch your bikes and make a run for it. You notice you aren't as fast as the boys and you bite your lip trying to catch up. Richie notices this and turns to you, without thinking he grabs your hand pulling you helping you speed up. This makes you blush but feel motivated at the same time. "Run!" Stanley calls to everyone, as the continue.

"They're gone..." Ben says as he walks into the sewer drain where you had all been hiding for the past twenty minutes. "Ugh, thank god" Eddie says taking a puff of his inhaler inhaling hard. "They are so ruthless..." You say looking down at your hands in your lap. "They want to k-kill us" Bill adds. "It's always been this way, they are just crude." Stanley says to her wiping his forehead sweat. "A bunch of assholes, like we said earlier. What happened just now was nothing. Bowers carved his initials into Ben's cottage cheese." Richie sticks his thumb at Ben, causing Ben to frown. "No way?" You ask, looking at Ben expecting him to show you, but he doesn't. "I'm sorry we dragged you into this..." Richie says after a little bit of silence, the rest of the boys nodding at what he said. You shake your head, " It's fine really! I'm not worried at all to be honest." Bill frowns, "You s-s-should a-avoid is to be h-honest" You look at Bill, "why! No way!" "Around here we are considered the Losers club, if you hang around us all summer, you'll be considered a loser too." Bill finishes. You shake your head once more. "I definitely do not think of you that way, you guys seem really cool and awesome. I am really grateful to hangout with you guys, even if today was the only day and we just got chased. And you guys decide to never speak to me again." You chuckle finishing, "which I really hope does not happen" the boys stare at you, all of them blushing. But Richie was blushing the hardest. "You can spend your summer with us" Richie says, "we'll try and make it worthwhile."

— ONE WEEK LATER —
RECAP
You had been hanging out with the boys for over a week and a half now, meeting almost everyday. You could feel your connection with all of them growing stronger and stronger each passing day, especially with Richie. You felt right at home whenever you were with them and it made you feel so much better about spending your summer away. Your thoughts on Derry had changed almost completely and you weren't bitter about anything. The boys had explained to you about everything going on in Derry lately and the reasoning for the curfew. It bothered you a lot to think about the other kids disappearing and you explained to them about your grandfathers disappearance and wondering if it had any connection to all the disappearances. Bill explained his brother situation to you as well, and exclaimed to everyone that they will find Georgie and possibly the reason of death of your father. You thought it was very sweet of Bill and you were very thankful for the boys being so kind to you.

You and all the boys were currently all sitting on your bikes in front of Bill's house. One by one each boy began to leave, leaving only you and Richie in front of Bill's house, you both wave to him and he shuts his front door, after a moment of silence Richie speaks, "So we live sort of close to each other then right?" "Yeah we do" you say twiddling your thumbs feeling a bit nervous being alone with him. "Alright then Y/N/N, then it's totally my duty to take you home first" he exclaims winking at you. "Oh alright, thank you Rich" you smile at the nicknames you've both developed for each other suddenly. You two both turn your bikes onto the road and Richie rides his bike right next to you keeping up with your pace. "So Rich, why have you decided to take me home first instead of going straight home?" You ask him questionably. Richie pauses for a second, possibly gathering his thoughts. "Well... I guess I just didn't want anything you know..." he scratches his cheek before continuing "happen to you." He sort of whispers the last part, but you hear it anyway. "What was that?" You ask him jokingly, "Nothing never mind Y/N/N" he replies quickly with a smileYou blush to yourself and shrug it off. You too finally make it to your grandmother's little blue house and you park your bike. After what felt like a million goodbyes Richie rode off on his bike and you went into your house, you softly climb up the stairs and enter your bedroom. You pull off your shoes and quickly change into your pajamas eager to get to bed after a long day with everyone. Then you turn off your light and slowly drift off to sleep.
(A/N): I've decided I'm going to add chapter songs at the beginning of every chapter (as I added to this one), the chapter names have been spread quickly but that will change and I'll stick to one chapter name for each chapter but I will write an actual FULL chapter in the section! Thanks for understanding I hope it will feel more comfortable for you readers! Love, Ana
