The third hokage received grim news from the Karyuu's. They had encountered an S-ranked monster in their village.
Despite the Karyuu being a remote village and not that fond of interacting with the outside world, they still had let their long time ally, the Konohagakure to know their whereabouts.
Hiruzen quickly gathered a small group of elites to respond for this call of help from the Karyuu's.
The leader, being him, Sarutobi Hiruzen.
Hatake Kakashi.
Sarutobi Asuma.
Ibiki Morino.
Yamanaka Inoichi.
Nara Shikaku.
Akimichi Choza.
They quickly made their way to the hidden valley of dragons. It took about 2 hours of running from their village. This was also the reason why they were on good terms and had been allies for a long time.
They had expected to see some kind of chaos due to the said monster, that was written on the distress call of the Karyuu's, but all they saw was a quiet village from outside the gates.
The horror came as soon as they went in the village.
Blood. Blood. It was everywhere. Dead bodies lay on every spot. Hiruzen had ordered his team to search for any living Karyuu, if there are any left amidst this tragedy.
The strong Karyuu clan was wipe out like this? Even though they were a small village and clan, the Karyuu's were still had stronger shinobi's than the leaf or any other village.
They were reduced to this state.
"Hokage-sama! You need to see this quickly!" Shikaku said with a hurried tone and the others started to gather where he was.
Their eyes widened at the scene in front of them.
In the middle of the dead bodies, sat one girl with white hair. That purely colored hair had a few bloodstains on it. Her clothes weren't any different and was in the same state.
A survivor? They had their doubts.
"Little miss, are you alright? What happened here?" Inoichi was the first one to ask as he was used on handling girls, having a daughter that looked around the same age as this girl in front of them.
".. Just what kind of monster annihilated the Karyuu's..?" Choza murmured as some of them started to approach the girl.
Just as they were nearing, the young girl moved. Her head turned to them, and when they saw her eyes, they all took a step back.
Never mind the blood in her face, the color of her eyes was the most unnatural thing they had seen. White pupil, gold irises, and black sclera which was normally supposed to be white.
They thought that nothing else would surprise them, but what the girl first said had made them widen their eyes.

With a voice void of emotion, she said that she was the one who killed an entire clan. Their suspicions and doubts long vanished when they felt a very oppressive aura come from the girl.
Some even thought they saw the girl's eyes turn white, but was gone in a second, changing back to the gold color they first saw.
The girl stood up.
"Are.. you trying.. to kill me ...too? Like them....?" This was all too fast to take in. Hiruzen and his team still haven't recovered to the fact that the huge chakra was coming from this girl.
"...kill you?" Asuma questioned while trying to not let his knees fall on the ground.
But the girl seems to have not heard him, and was muttering something. She was hugging her body close, as if showing how afraid she was.
"Why.... Why.... As soon as he left.... as soon as Ifrit disappeared... why...." the girl raised her head and glared at Hiruzen and the others.
That huge chakra that she was releasing became even more powerful. If not for their current dangerous situations, they would be losing their minds on how a young child could have this much chakra.
"---Not anymore!!" her shout came out like a roar. It made the ground and the wind tremble.
The others thought that they were going to die under the hands of this girl, just like what befall the Karyuu's.
But that thought didn't last as the girl collapsed on the ground.
She was exhausted, but she didn't want to die. Even though she wanted to get up and save herself from these people that showed up, she could only lay there and wait for her death.
