. . .
The school was silent today. No one was saying anything, it was too quiet and too rare for everyone. The teachers are surprised when the students only whisper at each other, no loud noise can be heard. It scares them but they could only walk fast and avoid the mysterious tension that's hanging around the air. The popular students noticed the thick atmosphere and tried to know what was going on, the students will explain it to them through whispers. Of course, they would join the dark day by showing a straight face and wouldn't look at anyone's eyes.
The Schuyler sisters were unaware of the mysterious news, each one of them were wondering why they wouldn't look at them in the eye. They would make a way for them but they wouldn't smile at all, still trying to understand the news that suddenly have spread like a wildfire. Eliza crosses her arms and sat down on the usual bench, slightly tapping her leg up and down. Angelica remained standing, her hand on her hip as she tries to look at anyone's eyes without looking away in a millisecond. Peggy was on edge, the glares and the straight faces of everyone scare her so much. Even if the faces of everyone wasn't for her, the atmosphere still scares her terribly.
Aaron Burr was with Theodosia Bartow, they were walking around the school as time passes by. Whenever someone would look at them, Aaron would look back and glare. Theodosia's arms would tighten her hold onto Aaron's arm as if he's the only one who can save her, everyone was basically scaring her so much. They were aware of the news, yes, but none of them would speak. Only whispers can be heard.
Maria Reynolds would ignore them and continue to cat walk the hell out of there, even if she knows what was going on. For her, it's another drama-drama.
George Washington was aware of the news and it angered him, he wanted that student to get out of here immediately and everything was getting worse. Martha, his wife, could only comfort him by wrapping her arms around him. He's sitting on the chair, his elbows on the table while his two hands are supporting his chin. George's eyes were fueled with anger, it looks like the principal will have another talk with his staff.
George Frederick knew about it, he was perplexed but ignored it. If it was proven true, then he would finally get rid of that student out of the school and go back to his usual daily routine. George could only complain about how students "stress" themselves too much about drama and that everyone should just chill, but what can he do? He can only control the whole school, not the students' personalities.
The school continued their tense atmosphere, the Schuyler sisters finally decided to get out of their usual spot and go inside their classroom. It was too scary for them to see every students affected by the news.
Alexander was with his friends, his arms on John Laurens and Marquis de Lafayette. While Hercules Mulligan have his arm on his French boyfriend, laughing with them. They were ignoring the tense atmosphere and continue what they were doing as friends, joking around as if nothing happened. Yes, they were aware however it wasn't their fault. So what's the point of being like them when the day is clearly perfect?
Now call the school crazy just because of the news but it usually happens to them when their rage is over the top. They're good at hiding it, yes but just like what (F/n) (L/n)'s mother says... the eyes show the emotions.
