The next few days were very busy ones.The preparations for the function was going on in full swing.All the students were surprised as to how sonakshi agreed to participate.For the past 1year,they have tried many times.but not possible.And now she is participating.

All her friends thanked dev for it.

"Thank you so much dev sir.Its only because of you sonakshi has started participating.You dont know how helpful you are.", Priya thanked him.

"Guys,dont thank me.It s because of you she has agreed.Initially she hesitated but then I told her that her friends I mean you all want her to do this.And then I took your side and advised her to take part.Today if she is participating then its only because you guys play an important role in her life."

"But still thank you so much sir.we know she respects us a lot but doesn't show it.Also she is slowly turning into normal after your arrival.You really dont have any idea about her.You have come just Now only.She has so many talents but she doesnt exhibit anything."

"You guys know her from 1 year only but I know for the past 19 years."

"What?", priya asked.

"umm.I mean I'm her mentor nah.so,I know more about her than you.thats it.OK.go .I'm getting late.Let's see tomorrow."

Sonakshi could not sleep that night.She was hell nervous because she was going to talk in the mike after ages.She just loved to talk in the mike.The school days were just awesome.She was laughing at her own self when she remembered how dev would tease her saying that she and mike were inseparable.Those were the beautiful days in her life.However old she grows she cannot forget those days.She was talking to herself when dev crossed her room.He hid himself near the door and was listening.

"Why dev?Why are you doing all this?You know what happened between us.Then why are you acting as if nothing happened between us?You dont have any idea how much it hurts.Daily seeing you as a professor is OK.I mean I'm happy.After all thats what I have craved for all these years.seeing you daily every time.How good we were in school.I didnt knew my one confession will drift us apart like this.I dont understand why have you come again like this.Though we got separated after that incident ,we tried to maintain distance.You only told that we were not ready that time.but why now?When I am changing  why now?Why can't you leave me in peace?I was trying to forget all those things that reminded me of you?But one or the other time you create such circumstances that those memories get relived.why dev?why?"

Dev could not control his tears after hearing what all she was saying.She had been hurt the most for all these years.He was angry at himself for not handling that situation properly.He could have done some other thing.but no he rejected her and also on top of that left her alone.Thus she has become like this.but not anymore.He will bring back his old sona again.Be had promised himself .

The next day sonakshi got ready soon and was waiting for the breakfast.Dev came to the dining hall just wearing his normal formal clothes.After seeing him,sonakshi thought that as he is new to the college,he didn't knew the rules.Hence ,started taunting him.

"Maa ,just taking up the responsibility doesn't make one responsible.You know what,we have rules in our college that during these formal occasions gents staff members must wear  3 piece suit with tie.I dont know what does your son does in the college."

Dev was happy that his plan worked.Sonakshi was still the same old sona who was very strict in following the rules.He did it intentionally so that sona can say him about it.

"But maa you know na.I'm not used to this.And I dont know how to wear tie."

"haaww.you still dont know how to wear a tie.For god's sake dev now you have become a professor but still cannot do such small things without me."

only after saying she realized what she had told and facepalmed herself.Now he has got another opportunity to come near her.

"what shall I do sona.When I'm alone I can manage.but when I'm with you ,I want you to do these things for me.That has become a habit.now come on its getting late.please help me na yaar."

Sonakshi didn't have any other way now.She knows if she didnt agree then he would call ishwari or shiv .so,she went to his room and brought a matching tie for him.

"will you unbutton my shirt?"

"What?"

"Arey I mean,the button is stuck.so please help me."

He giggled after the change of sonakshi's expressions.After that she started tying the tie around his neck.but his hands were not calm.He intentionally touched her ear,and asided her flicks near her ear.She tried removing his hands.but could not.His fingers slowly traced her forehead earlobe and slowly the neck.Sonakshi gasped at the moment and left his neck.

"sonakshi I was just helping you in asiding those flicks.Also your earrings doesnt match your dress."

Then he removed those and made her wear new ones.

"Now this suits you perfectly.
And went without saying anything else".

Sonakshi thought to herself.
What was that?What did he now?He gifted me earrings.He knows that if he gives me ill not take them.That's why he did this intentionally.That means all this tie scenario was just a drama.Oh God Dev.what are you man?Whenever I think we are over .there is nothing more between us,you do one or the other thing that makes me fall for you more.what ?fall for you more.no no.I'm not in love with him.I just hate him.hate him to the core.However his choice is awesome.These earrings are too beautiful.I just love them.

She goes to the college.There she finds all her friends talking about dev.

"Hi guys.What's up?"

"nothing.not your thing."

"What's not my thing?"

"Arey yaar.just see there.dev sir.he is looking dapper cool.Oh my god.How handsome he looks.No body  will say that he is a professor.He is way too small for that."

"Enough enough.why do you always have to drool over him? ", Sonakshi said.

"See.this is what I say.This is not your thing sonakshi.Had he not been a professor to us ,I would have proposed him by now."

Sonakshi could not hear anymore.Her friend herself is telling that she wants to propose dev .That too to her itself.She thinks she hates dev but she cannot deny the fact that she still feel attracted to him.How can she let anyone say like this to her.Though she is her friend she felt as if slapping her.When she was thinking about it,dev himself came near them.

"Hi girls."

"Hi sirr."

"Hello sir.You are looking just wow.This suit and tie suits you so much."

"Thank you girls."

Sonakshi thought about the morning scenario and smiled.

"Sonakshi why are you smiling?", priya asked.

"nothing nothing."

"BTW sonakshi,your earrings are nice.good collection you have I must say."

"Yeah sonakshi.this is so beautiful.But when did you buy this?You didn't tell me.", priya asked

"Umm.actually its a gift."

"Who gifted you?Anyone special.", dev asked

Sonakshi knows where he is coming amd just said her family gifted her.and dev smiled to himself.

Within no time the girls started asking him to take selfie with them and he cannot Deny them.
All.stood near him and everyone were fighting to stand near him

"Girls girls stop fighting.let's do one thing.If I stand near anyone of you then others will feel bad.so let's do one thing.I am seeing only you all are fighting and not sonakshi.So,let me stand near her.OK."

All girls agreed and made her stand near dev.Sonakshi hesitatingly stood near him and took photo.
