At Murthy house

Nandu was sitting in the balcony, staring the stars. Though she was an introvert, she too needs someone to talk, someone who would just be there with her. Abhimanyu was such a person. He would fight with her, he would pamper her and irritate the shit out of her but would never ever leave her. Though he is going only for a week she would miss him as there won't be anyone who would barge into her room at nights nor there would be any late night calls cribbing about her lack of attention on them but secretly checking upon her on whether she is fine or not. She was angry as Abhi didn't even allow her to come to the airport in the morning.

In all these, she didn't realize when a message popped on her mobile from a desperate person who is having similar thoughts about her. Manik who had seen an upset Nandini while leaving the office, is restless to know the reason and found out through Abhimanyu. He messaged her and was waiting for her reply,

Would you like to accompany me to the airport tomorrow? I am feeling too scared to come alone after dropping them. 😨😨

Nandini who read the message understood what he was trying to do and instantly called him.

Nandini: (excited) Manik.

Manik: woah. Itna excitement. Mere liye? I am proud of myself.

Nandini: Manik please na.

Manik: acha fine. So, are you coming tomorrow?

Nandu: lekin Abhimanyu?

Manik: I will handle him. Who would dare to stop my P.A to come with me? I know I am smart and you can thank me later. Now sleep. Goodnight.

With that, he cut the call without giving any chance for Nandu to speak. Nandu couldn't help but smile at this guy who was trying very hard not to let even a single frown on her forehead.

Today when I was sitting here all cursing Abhi for not letting me come to the airport, I don't know from where this guy came to know about this and he texted me to come to the airport tomorrow along with him. After dad, I never thought anyone would understand my thoughts without me saying it aloud. But this guy is proving me wrong every day.

After a long time, someone is reminding me of dad. I miss you, papa. I miss you, mumma.
