Ancient Greece - Percy's pov
My name is commander Perseus Jackson of Greece and I am the son of the sea god. Right now I am sailing into battle against the Romans who are trying to reach mount Olympus.
I look around at my crew. I know not everyone is going to make it out of this battle alive. I recognise every face aboard my ship. Because as commander I new I couldn't now everyone in the army but I new I could know everyone on my ship at least.
I can see the Roman ships ahead I knew that the Romans don't like to go on the sea at all so the don't have the best sailors. But the do have fine ships each figure head at the prow of the ship is different and unique and eve sail is the same a big royal purple sail. Just as I was admiring the ships I felt a could chill in the wind.
As this is Greece I know it's not usually cold especially in July, so I new something was wrong. My fears was correct as snow started to fall and small circles of ice start to appear in the ocean which is the exact colour of my eyes. I look up to see Boreas and khrione along with the other Boreads. They have sided with the Romans. So I now know that we can rather stand and fight or turn and retreat back to Greece. And that wasn't an option.
We where along side the roman flag ship now. And so close you see the detail of each soldier armour. They where about to swing over to our ship when and evil cackle came from kihrone and I look to the prow of the ship just in time to see a huge ice berg slam in to the front of the ship everyone on board was forces on to the deck by the force. Everyone except for me I was thrown over the side into the ice cold water below.
I only remember the water slowly freezing to ice around me and I lost consciousness thinking would I ever get to see my mother again. Little did I know just how long I would be frozen in the ice and how tails of my adventures along side my demigod friends would go into myth.
