Long ago she was naive.
The truth seemed wrong,
and deception seemed right.

She tried to see reality through her eyes
Yet the allure in his aura,
manipulated her fervour with pride.

He will be your king.
She will be his princess,
said the heart that craved happiness.

Life will be a test.
Love will need some rest,
said the mind that saw reality.

The trance she was in kept her there.
I love you,
became a phase that pulled her out of despair.

Some words simply flow out of the mouth.
Those words could be an expression,
but they can save a heart from falling into depression.

The going got tough.
Not all days seemed bright,
but his smile made her alright.

She did not have maternal love.
All she knew was the love of a father,
who never gave up on his part.

A world of hopes and dreams.
She could never see the light,
without him by her side.

Now tables have turned.
Leaving her all alone,
he departed this cruel world.

The spell called love.
It guided her all along,
but now he's gone.
