"You look lovely." Stephan said casually. He looked so fine in his light blue collared shirt, tight enough so we could tell he's fit. His jeans were slim and beige, accompanied with completely white Toms shoes. His hair was pulled back, which was my favorite hairstyle on him. He looks very business-like with his hair like that. He wasn't too classy, which was perfect because when I went shopping with Amber the day after our graduation ceremony, we found the perfect ensemble after searching for a whole 6 hours straight. It was a nightmare.

Flashback: In the changing room.

"I don't think so." Amber commented as I walked out from the changing room wearing a blue dress with ruffles on the sleeves.

"This is the 168th dress I've tried on Amber, and you commented the same thing with all of them." I responded, looking exasperated. I stared at the pile of dresses on the couch beside the stall, then looked at the store's manager as she frowned at us with disagreement. She tried helping us, but gave up after the 100th dress. I guess she didn't know that when Amber shopped,  she shopped. She practically invented the meaning of "Shop 'til you drop". I sighed and started picking up the dresses one by one.

"What are you doing?" She asked, crossing her legs infront of me.

"Well if we're going to do this all day, we might as well put back the dresses we won't be buying. You know, common courtesy." I rolled my eyes at her, and picked up a white dress that I kinda liked. One side was strapless, and the other side had a strap made out of fake diamonds that crossed around the upper chest. The dress was tight and not too short. Elegant yet casual.

"Wait!" She screamed and I dropped all of the dresses on the floor, jumping at her sudden comment.

"Oh my god Amber! I hate it when you do that. You nearly gave me a heart attack! Geez, what's wrong?" I coughed out, patting my heart that was beating way too fast.

"That dress... it's perfect!" She exclamed, pointing towards the white dress. I picked it up and hung it around my finger.

"This one?" I asked, raising my brow. She nodded.

"But I already tried this dress. I even remember your comment towards the dress, which was 'Over my dead body.'"

"Oh I was probably texting Alec when you came out with the dress. I wasn't paying attention, but now I see it and I know that IT. IS. THE. ONE!" She shouted again, much too loud. I peeked at the manager once again and saw that she was now glaring. I mouthed a sorry to her and hit Amber on the arm.

"Ouch! What was that for?!"

"Shut up! The manager won't stop giving me deadly looks, you're gonna get us both kicked out permanently! Not that I would be surprised, we've been here for about 5 hours now."

"Oh please, let's not exagerate Phoebe." She rolled her eyes.

"No really, I set a timer. Look." I unlocked my iPhone 5s and showed her the timer. 5 hours, 45 minutes and 13 seconds. A new record.

"Whatever. We're getting the dress, come on, wear it again." She grabbed the dress and tossed it at me. I catched it and dragged my butt back into the changing room. I unzipped the blue dress and let it slide on the floor. When I wore the white dress again, it wrapped around my body perfectly. Tight enough so we can see some curves. I got out to see that Amber was texting again. Then I remembered the name of the guy she was texting.

"Who's Alec?" I asked curiously. I've never heard of him before. Probably a new guy.

"Oh, just this guy i've been talking to. He's really cute, look." She tapped on the Photo's app and lifted her phone to my face. The picture was of a guy in boxers, and nothing else. His body was muscular and tanned, like a model. His face was smiling at the camera, showing beautiful white teeth. His eyes looked like they were blue and his hair was toussled up and messy. Like, 'just-fucked' messy. I looked at her and glared.
