Jaiden glances up from her book when someone rides up to the park bench she's sitting on.
"What's up Jai!" someone says, sitting down next to her. Jai looks over to see Lesley throwing her arm up on the back of the bench and throw her legs into Jai's lap. Their mutual friend Jean stands next to the bench, smiling at the two.
J'ai throws Lesley's feet off her lap and and says, "Don't fucking touch me with your dog shit infested shoes."
Lesley scoffs and sits up, crossing her legs on the bench and leans forward, "Whatcha readin Jai?"
"My Torah you fuckass, do you really think I'd be reading anything else?"
"Easy there Jai, she was just asking a question." Jean says, sitting on the ground in front of Jai.
J'ai shakes her head, "Yeah I know, why are y'all here?"
"We're heading over to Carter's for a movie night and we came to see if you wanted to come with." Lesley said, shrugging.
"Yeah, we figured we'd find you here." Jean adds.
J'ai nods, "Sure, I left my bike by the basket ball court."
The three of them go to get Jais bike, Jean and Lesley walking theirs. They continue to walk their bikes to Carters house, his house is only a few blocks from the park.
"Okay, I spy with my little eye something green." Jai says.
"Is it the trees?" Jean asks.
"No."
"Is it the grass?" Lesley asks.
"No."
"Well there's nothing else out here that's green!" Jean says.
"Your sweater is green you dumbass." Jai says.
"Oh." Jean whispers.
"Is it Jean's sweater?" Lesley asks.
"Yes." Jai responds.
"Not fair!" Jean exclaims.
"What's not fair about it? Lesley guessed it before you." Jai deadpans.
Lesley laughs, and hops on her bike. She peddles ahead of the two other girls and as she passes Jean she pushes the smaller girl's bike over.
"Asshole!" Jean calls as Lesley bikes away quickly.
