"Mike get down here or we're leaving!" I hear my mom yell from downstairs, "hold on!" I yell, struggling to pull up my jeans, I stumble over my backpack and fall face first into my floor. "ugh" I groan rubbing my face, I hear a car start and pull out of the driveway. My eyes widen and I stand up grabbing my backpack and running downstairs pulling the door open in a hurry to see my mom drive away. "Wait!" I yell trying to catch up with the car, she turns left and disappears down the road. "Damnit!" I yell throwing my backpack and running a hand through my hair. I kick a pebble, and grab my backpack swinging it over my shoulder and begin walking. I fucking hate when my parents do this to me, only me, never Aria. Of course not Aria, she's their prize. They would never do anything to make her mad at them, God forbid they make the princess mad. I start to see the school and get that nervous feeling in my stomach. Great, another day where I'm ignored. At least when I'm getting beat up they actually acknowledge my existence. I sigh walking up to the corridors, I pull them open and step into the school keeping my head down and walking to my locker. I hear laughing behind me, I walk a little faster and finally reach my locker. I pull my algebra book out, and shut the locker slipping the book into my bag, "mikeeee" I freeze a little, looking up seeing Alec Evian and his group of friends surrounding me. "What do you want Alec?" I ask, knowing exactly what he wants. He laughs, "you know," he says leaning on my locker, "I'm gonna let you pick today" he says, folding his arms. "Let me pick what?" I question confused. He looks to his friends and they smirk. He looks back at me with this sinister look on his face, "which one of us beats you today" he says, I laugh "fuck you" his eyes widen a little and then he smiles, "all of us you say? Great idea" he says, and before I can even process what's happening I get punched in the face and thrown to the ground, "you think you can be smart with me huh?" He says kicking me in my stomach. "Agh" I groan clutching on to it. I feel his friends start kicking me in the back. "You're a freak!" He says punching me again this time harder, "no one knows you!" He yells, punching me harder, I taste blood as my face goes to the side. "Cmon pussy fight back" he says throwing punches left and right I lost count. "Fucking freak you should just die!" He shouts kicking me in the face, I feel my eyes start to water, and my vision get blurry all his friends join in and start kicking me, I can't breath! I go to grab my bag and he steps on my hands and slaps me in my face, "I- I can't breath" I stutter out, I hear him laugh, as I start to black out. "Hey! Get off of him!" I hear, Just as everything goes completely black.
