A/N: to set the scene; it is pitch black outside until the lightening strikes, the thunder is rumbling afterwards and I am trying to sleep, but I decide to enjoy some poetry with the beautiful storm outside and compare it with my affections.

Thunder strikes overhead

And to you my thoughts led.

Wondering if the sky lit up for you

The way the strings of lightening do.

Surely the lightening also struck my heart

The brightness couldn't be told part

But the lightening fades and my love does not.

Thunder is truly the remembrance of the lost thought.

Thunder rumbles in my head

I remember words you've said.

Of love the kind words spoke.

Leaving even the thunder to choke.
