Chapter 1: Water

I heard someone call my name before I woke up,"Oceanna!" I had the same dream I had the night before. There were four of us, I was dressed in a beautiful blue shade dress with the same water drop necklace I always wore. The other four was hard to see. I got out of bed before my brother got out of his, My father rarely talked since my mother died. I quickly got dressed and made coffee. I ran out the door just in time of my father waking up, I ran to school like nothing held me back. I was ready, Ready to get away from the pain from the mourning of my mother's death. I felt good running from my worries with the wind blowing through my shiny blue hair. I couldn't help to look back as I seen my father wave to me as he sipped his coffee. My parents named me after the ocean we used to live by, I knew how much my father missed my mother. I thought back before my mother died, she always helped me and made me feel good about myself. I remember how my mom took me to the beach and taught me how to swim. But unfortunately when I was 6 an uncured cancer took her away. I kept running to school as time rushed I was determined not to be late. When I finally got there and caught my breath students trampled in the halls. I eventually got to my locker And unlocked it. I looked over to a boy next to my locker. He had charcoal black hair with ember red streaks, black jeans and a white shirt. I had to admit, I had a crush on him. Suddenly he looked, I shifted my head and looked back at my locker. His name was Ash, alot of girls liked him but he was single. My thought ended as I was spun around and slammed against my own locker, my head throbbed with pain. I heard a voice yell at me, "Hey nerd!" It was one of my bullies his name was Wolf, he punched me and the wind was knocked out of me. I brased for another hard punch  but there was none. I looked up and seen Wolf on the floor and ash walking away. I was tempted to help Wolf but in fear of being beat up. I wondered if Ash had helped me.
