And finally, the school bell rang and interrupted their kiss, causing the cute couple to flinch, roll their eyes, and walk away together.
"So. What are you doing later today?" -Jessie
"Oh I have to go to the doctors."
"Why? Are you ok?"
"I don't know. I haven't been feeling too great lately."
"Please bring back good news."
"I'll try to."
"Good. Listen, I have to go but we can catch up later."
"Ok sounds good."
They boys casually walk away from each other. The time passes by and Joeys in the waiting room waiting to be called.
"Joey I can see you now." -Doctor sammons
Joey nods and walks through the door into the office.
"Joey tell me. What's wrong?"
"I don't exactly know. I've been getting weird pains and I've suddenly lost 7 pounds in the last 2 days."
"Ok. We need to take some ex-rays so follow me."
They walk to the ex-ray room. Joey sits on the special chair and waits for the doctor to do what he needs to do.
"Ok Joey, I just need you to sit very still for me."
"Sure no problem."
He does the ex-rays and Joey waits for the next directions.
"Alright Joey. You can head back to the office and wait for me to come back with the ex-rays."
"Ok I'll see you in a few doctor."
Joey heads back to the office. He sits there for about 25 minutes. The doctor walks in with an upset look on his face.
"What is it?" -Joey
"What's what?"
"You look very sad.."
"Oh, yes. I am. I just got your results back."
"And..?"
"I'm so sorry Joey.."
"TELL ME! I NEED TO KNOW!"
"I'm afraid that.. you've just been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer."
"Oh..Oh my..Oh my gosh. This isn't happening."
"I'm so sorry but it is."
The doctor shows Joey the ex-rays. Joeys eyes fill with tears. He covers his mouth with his hands and starts balling. He starts crying so hard that he needs to take deep breathes in between the crying.
"I have to call my parents."
"Yes, yes anything you need."
Joey calls his parents.
"Mom? Get dad but stay on the line with him so you can hear what I'm about to say."
"Sure. Honey is everything okay?"
"No mom not really."
Joey hears his mom yell for his dad.
"Ok he's right here now tell us what's wrong?"
"Well I'm here at the doctors. And I found out what's wrong with me."
"Ok, please explain what's wrong." -Dad
"Mom, dad, I have just been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer."
All of a sudden Joey just heard a loud scream. He then hears his parents break out into tears.
